Agreed, it looks pretty bad, about all you can expect from the team behind DS2 & DS3 I guess. I'm assuming that the main team is working on Bloodborne 2 so there's a positive.

They said they have new gameplay showcase on 18-19 August at the PSX Souteast Asia.
Also, They said in the tweet "Get hands-on at Gamescom" in which I believe it's playable.

I mean, it not an RPG, it's a pure action game. It ditches many Souls' staples and introduces new elements, like stealth, grappling hook traversal and a new combat system. What it keeps from the Soulsborne series is a high difficulty and interconnected world. Edge went hands-on with it at E3 and called it the highlight of the show.

It says early 2019 in the activision press release, and there was a (potential) leak the other day that it's coming feb 15
