I'm trying to recall whether Aqua Buddah invited Iranian or Cuban legislators for a little get-together? Y'know, to understand each other better

This is the GOP now

It's insane how open the Republicans are trying to further this relationship with Putin and the Russians, even knowing the full extent of what they did and still are doing to undermine the country. It is sickening how traitorous these people are to the citizens and the country, all in the name of party.

Republicans would be heroes if they did this in the cold war years. Too bad now 'Russia' means Putin and his mafia.

Treason in broad daylight lmfao. Hopefully the death penalty can be applied.
Until someone stops the Republican Party, you can consider yourself and your country compromised by the Russian empire. Your country has been purchased and, thus far, there has been no consequences for outright treason against the American people.

I'll be fine, I'm watching this disaster from the outside.

Uhhh, spoiler alert: whiteness and white supremacy doesn't know borders, and protecting that is far far more important to the majority than some document written by a bunch of racist 20 somethings in weird wigs 200+ years ago. That's why it's so blatant and out in the open because a majority of white people either agree or are ambivalent.

Rand Paul is such a huge idiot

Likes to play contrarian to the GOP and then decides to join up when it means selling us all out to the Russians

Everyone should vote for his neighbor

All the obvious Trump collusion aside how common or uncommon is it for lawmakers to go to Russia to meet with people?

What motivates these people? The optics are so devastating... are they trying to bolster Trump's defense that conspiring with Russia was a-okay by pretending relations with the Putin regime are business as usual?

I can only assume at this point that Putin has evidence of them cheating actual elections and is holding it over their heads. Like, they know they would lose everything, so they're doing all this in hopes of maaaaybe snaking by.

How are the Republicans willingly going along with this? This used to be the party that loathed Russia, and now all of them are rolling over like goddamn puppies for Putin.

That's doesn't sound very libertarian.

That's the best thing about being a libertarian! You can crow all the time about all the principles you have until you don't feel like it anymore, but because your entire party position is "Republican who likes weed", you never really had a leg to stand on to begin with.

Winning matters more than democracy or principles. All of these guys are thinking "with just 5 more years of power, we can create the perfect America that even liberals can't touch when they outnumber us. It will all be worth it then."

So they'll lie, cheat, steal, to create their oligarchy and ethnostate.
