There was no reason to say this that I can wrap my head around. The first part... fine. But why say that last part? There's no danger of it happening what so ever. Maybe four or five decades from now it could realistically become a possibility, if countless necessary changes to redress inequality have occurred. Even then that seems overly optimistic.

I can't understand what he was even going for here. This doesn't please *anyone*.

Imagine being so throwed by black people taking direct agency in trying to topple their systems of oppression and reinforcing their own self-worth that you think they're saying they're a superior race.

Terry needs to shut the fuck up. Not once in my life I ever thought, "hmm, today I'd like to be the slave owner." But I have thought constantly, and more recently, "I sure do hope I don't get lynched walking home from work."

Maybe these tweets are his way to convince Sandler & Stallone to hire him again since he refuses to drop the lawsuit against that agent? (I know it's not, just can't figure out why he's stuck on stupid.)

"Oh ho ho I see you asking not to be murdered in the streets and to have better access to resources which you've been denied access do to systemic discrimination? Don't you know that's a slippery slope into you being the oppressor?!"

I'm sorry - tell me what's wrong with what he's said, because I don't see anything wrong with what he said. All he seems to have said is that everyone should be equal, which we should. What's wrong with that?

Even though you're banned, I'll try to help you out on the chance that you might be asking this in good faith. The BLM movement isn't built around the message that "black means better". Bringing that up is just deflection that caters to the all lives matter crowd. It takes the conversation away from black lives matter which communicates that all lives are equal, and should be treated as such.

Basically, it's a straw man argument.

It's so weird to see this guy with such milquetoast commentary about BLM after how responded during the whole initial MeToo flare up in Hollywood.

Terry saw that pic of the black kid belting his White Friends while MLK looks proudly and thought it was serious.

Not only does it take the conversation away from BLM, it actively diminishes the movement by making it look like a hostile, selfish movement instead of the inclusive movement it is.

It's essentially painting BLM as a black supremacist group waiting to happen, which is a fundamental misreading of the entire point of BLM.

Why dont we worry about giving POC equality before we start worrying about them taking over? Its like hes trying to put equality down as this gateway to evil before we have even started.

Rest easy Terry. We got an insanely long way to go before we flip the situation and need to discuss de-escalating the white genocide. Lol.

This is one of the "arguments" that immediately turns me nasty on social media.

Asshole: I'm super worried that we're going to build a system of oppression!

Me: We already have, we live in it currently.

Asshole: Nuh-uh.

As lily white white dude I can affirm that my fear level of BLM morphing into whatever he's talking about is exactly 0. So zero that it could be used as the benchmark for 'absolute zero' temps. Anyone who's legit afraid that people will go from "Hey maybe don't treat us like shit and stop murdering us" to "A THOUSAND YEARS OF PAIN UPON THEE" is not someone who's opinion of racial injustice should taken seriously.

Is it bad that my first reaction to that pic was that it looked like something out of a really messed up porno?

Definitely. White folks are always looking for their version of a KKK to attack.

I'm still fuming over how this asshole backstabbed everybody who stood up for him when he called out his abuser a year or two ago.

There was a time where I thought Terry was serious about being role model that bucked the trend against toxic masculinity and insecurity but as soon as he got all his wounds taken care of he decided to oull uo the ladder from under him. I feel like a fucking moron for falling for it.

I'm sick of this goofy bitch. He's an obstacle, no help at all for this movement. Needs to shut the hell up or just join Candace Owens already at the OAN lineup

I just don't get why he would feel the need to say this in the current political climate. Why? Who is he trying to appease with this kind of statement? So disappointing to see him continue to say stupid shit like this.
