His former biggest donator was a dude named echang. He was modded there for a bit. He was a fucking weirdo that kept making off color jokes about Sherry Jenix. Aris eventually got sick of his shit and demodded him. Whenever he would try to make his shitty jokes, Aris and many others would turn it back on him and he often become the butt of jokes. He eventually was ostracized enough that he stopped showing up.

I wonder how many other high profile streamers would do that to their top donators.

Floe was in a red mobility scooter at Evo. I would think it would be hard to miss a fat white guy in a red scooter taking a tiny asian chick out of the casino.

Someone on reddit mentioned that Floe was definitely not on his scooter at the time of the Red Bull After Party, nor has any of his friends used that as a defense specifically for the after party, so this probably doesn't check out.

We'll see what he says but going "she's mentally unwell!" right out of the gate is literally what Evilore pulled

Good for him for eventually shutting down continuous harassment from HIS TOP DONOR AND MODERATOR.

Aris also likes to make a big show whenever a character in the game says the word "black" and encourages people to spam black emotes...

That speaks for him having changed. How would it prove that he's still an asshole?

Kinda speaks more for him hosting a toxic ass community and doing the least he can to keep it in check. Notice how his abusive TOP DONOR AND MODERATOR wasn't even banned. Merely, "ostracized enough that he stopped showing up." Pardon me for not being impressed with his leadership.

Yeah, I'm not going to defend that. Like I said before, he still has problematic aspects which often involve him finding a line with his joking.

My point is simply that he has improved leaps and bounds from his past days where he didn't really think through anything that he was saying out loud with a filter at all.

Well I doubt anything is gonna satisfy you, but since you keep pushing this, this was several years ago. Since then he bans people that make those kinds of jokes through donations. He also bans them from actually donating again. A lot of garbage still gets through though.

oh thats why Yipes was tweeting about women being harassed earlier, I wondered if something happened or if it was a general statement thing.

Well would you look at that. Almost like it coming up in here was meant to be.

Thanks for linking it.
Just a fyi, I watched the whole thing from that link and nothing was said about Cross Assault or his apology. Then I went *back* from the timestamp linked and it's the very first thing the interviewers ask about, like a couple minutes earlier.

That's crazy man. I literally played a ranked set with her a few weeks ago in MK11. Never got the vibe that she was predatory like that, but maybe that's just on me for being too trusting of people. :/

You know this is sad. We want the FGC to grow and be more diverse but if these sexual maniacs like Gilty and Floe keep on touching females gamers maliciously, it will leave a bad taste toward the community.

Don't be cute about that "translate this into proper English" shit now.
A Google search would've taken less time than hitting send on that post

man you guys are overly agressive. Not everyone is English. When i type that word in google i see the first results showing that Henny is a first name. Then i see results of a populair celebrity. Only when i search further i come to some results of it being a gay/drag slang term. Or a French cognac. Be a bit more understanding of people who dont speak native English please.

Fucking Aris is a scumbag but the fgc obviously is going to continue to let human cook

Jesus, you know when you hate somebody even when the person they have harassed has forgiven him specifically because he changed over the years maybe the issue's more with you than him? I mean going out of your way to say he had a shitty statement directly after the event is meaningless, it would be nice PR but ultimately it's more likely it would be down to them compensating for their fuck-up rather than anything genuine. What interesting is that you look at the actual statement he gave Pattrick (rather than stuff he said on the show) he albeit he skip the sexual harassment aspect he does apologise for his behaviour and realises there's an issue with how the community acts towards outsides.

Anyway you seem dead set on hating people who even make amends so I'm not sure why I'm even responding to this.

Read Jett's and see how reluctant he was to apologize in the first place, double downing than giving some half ass bullshit. Nah

They're still fighting game fans though - most of their focus is on FGs and FGC topics. THey've had AMAs with Mike Ross and other FGC figures. Their opinions do reflect on the FGC at large, for better or worse.

Anyway, a number of tournaments have banned Gllty in response to the accusations:

These tournaments and a couple other have also banned Chris Bahn as well. Wouldn't be surprised if similar bans fly for Floe.
if more evidence comes out about floe i'm interested to see how fast the community takes action against him. he's an old school popular personality that is friends with just about all the tourney organizers. guilty getting banned isn't all that surprising since she's not as connected as floe.

At what point would something be good enough for you? The victim herself is defending Aris from people like you, and when you're ignoring the victim's urgency you've lost the fucking plot.

So what could he do in your eyes to amend for this after these 7 years, after the person he wronged has forgiven him and openly talks about how he has changed. What do you want him to do to live up to your standard?

I asked you this earlier and you conveniently had no answer.

Yes, this is insane. The victim herself says that it's okay, that he changed and that people should not keep saying stuff like that. It should be more than enough for everyone but it's not. The truth is that some people just want to be mad at something / someone, and they'll keep pushing stuff EVEN when the victim says that it's all good now. They don't want justice, they're not doing this for the victim, they're doing it just for the right of being assholes to someone without repercussions.

No one has to forgive him. No one is required to forgive. I mean you can forgive him and that's fine but it doesn't look good when people are militantly defending while the behaviors he demonstrated in the past are still festering in this community. The fact that people are so quick to be like "well he said he's sorry now let's move on" without doing ANY introspection is how we're here in the first place.

Probably best to just ignore them at this point. If all of that won't convince them, then nothing will, and it'd be a waste of energy for both sides to keep going.

he definitely still actively does it. He made a damn emote for people to spam

Well I can only assume that you're talking about one of three of his emotes.

Smokey from Friday, Carl Winslow from Family Matters, or the character from Reno 911 (never watched it so I don't know her name).

Those emotes all came along after he made references to them on stream completely unrelated to the context that you talk about him encouraging it in. His chat will often use the Carl Winslow emote in that context though due to the expression that he's doing in it.

The reason I didn't disagree with you bringing it up in the first place is because, while he doesn't overtly encourage that bullshit, he doesn't exactly shut it down either beyond roasting the chat about it every once in a while, which (like I said before) they seem to get off on.

I don't have a horse in this, but that reluctancy happened right after the controversy. When the argument from him, the victim and others is that he has changed in these 7 years, why do you think this reluctancy that happened 7 years ago is a good argument against him? Why do you judge him on what he said right after the fuck up instead of the 7 years til then? It's not like he doubled down on it recently.

I'm also not sure how you can be the judge of whether his apology was half assed when the actual victim forgave him and found the apology to be enough. Get some perspective lol.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, that emote is about smoking weed which is the channel's running joke (running it into the ground).

It's called "atpHolUp". He will purposly call attention to it and even says the emote out loud when a character in a game says "black" or any phrase that can have a double meaning of being a racist comment towards minorities.

Yeah, I can't argue with that. I do see mostly the Carl emote in that context though, even when he does say that out loud.
