Another perfect game to buy for pennies on the dollar in a few months or so no matter what the scores are

I wonder when we'll be getting the DigitalFoundry analysis. X was the lead platform for this game, at least in the later stages (possibly the first third party game to do so), so the comparison against Pro will certainly be interesting.

Overall I really enjoyed it. It doesn't do much to innovate the series and most of the darker and more provocative ideas are just kinda window dressing in the end. But the pacing is amazing, there's a much better focus on platforming/exploration over combat (which is super minimal) and the hub-worlds are really fantastic.
Also I played this with HDR enabled and it was absolutely gorgeous. A solid 8/10 from me.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is an excellent action and adventure title. The stealth mechanics present are great, the possibilities of approach are also very good and the technical part deserves all the compliments possible. The graphics are amazing and the sound effects are one of the best I have ever experienced on PS4. These two factors combined create a simply incredible ambience. Finally, the optional content continues to be quite vast. However, the story isn't so great, as well as certain side quests.
