Can't believe I missed this thread... and OMG at this video... That's a close friend of mine's setup, and it's at his office where I do all my X68 playing!

My most played games on the X68 are Star Trader (I've beaten that game more times than I can count - love the soundtrack), Marchen Maze, Etoile Princess, Cho Ren Sha, Buster, and some weird game called Ohimesama where you're a princess that throws random shit at monkeys trying to scale castle walls. Then you turn into a dominatrix and get to whip them when you get a specific powerup :P

It was labeled defective, does not turn on. But my uncle managed to get it working, and I've had it ever since.

One of the things I think very few people will mention is Lagoon. Yes, the same Lagoon that came out for SNES. The X68000 version has more content and a slightly different story progression, as well as a more Ys-like combat system which IMO makes it way more fun to play. The music is also way better!




It's also got an exclusive Glodia game, a top-down shooter called Die Bahnwelt which I'm pretty fond of (then again, I'm pretty fond of almost all of Glodia's games...)

Glad to see someone else enjoys Die Bahnwelt as much as I enjoyed translating it.

I just picked up an X68K and after changing out the PSU, it seems to be perfect. Sadly though I don't know a single soul that own one and I have questions...

What does the Timer LED indicate? Mine hasn't illuminated yet...
