If the exclusive is temporary, i will wait for steam release. If not fuck epic and the developers who keep misleading customers.
Win32 apps can be on the MS Store now, so they can just throw the existing PC version on PC GamePass after 3 months, just like MetroNo Xbox One version, though. Unless they are already developing a port for Xbox One/W10.
I feel like half the PC games coming out are exclusive to the Epic Game Store. People are likely eventually going to have to give in and support EGS in order to keep playing a huge chunk of modern PC games. Sucks but as time goes on more and more games becomes exclusives for EGS.
Are we going to - systematically - hate when a game is exclusive to the EGS ? Seriously...
How does a game not coming to Xbox One/W10 get on the gamepass? They will put it on gamepass in a heartbeat after it bombs.
See Metro
He's right
Currently we are planning development only for PC (Windows) and PS4

No. We hate a game when years ago was announced on Steam and now it's on another client. It's a different thing.
Just wait a year and get them cheaper + patched up. egs customers can beta test for all i care lol. egs customers will also use the steam forums to complain about technical problems. wanna know why? because egs sucks so hard it doesnt even have forums on a per game basisI feel like half the PC games coming out are exclusive to the Epic Game Store. Wait by "won't be coming to steam" does it mean not coming to steam period or for a year cause otherwise...
OOF
Any Win32 app can be a part of the MS Store/PC GamePass now. Most of the games on the new PC GamePass are Win32, not UWP. No port required. How does a game not coming to Xbox One/W10 get on the gamepass?
Got it.Any Win32 app can be a part of the MS Store/PC GamePass now. Most of the games on the new PC GamePass are Win32, not UWP. No port required.
It always amuses me how long he spent bitching about Microsoft locking games behind the windows store and his company creates a platform that does exactly the thing he was complaining about.
When it was announced and financed "years ago" (during the month of the Kickstarter campaign), it wasn't announced for Steam. Only "PC Version".
You can repeat a lie as many times as you want...but it won't become the truth.
This is literally what my backer survey says. They definitely promised Steam copies lol.
People who are saying otherwise are talking rubbish.
