I thought the word was that the AEW involvement was what caused them to drop out, since I thought they were slated to come back sometime this year before Double or Nothing happened and all of the official announcements and stuff kicked off.

That being said I'm sure they have a bit more loyalty (aka getting paid a lot) by AAA at the moment so they're on good terms enough to work it out. Irregardless I think they come to AEW with or without AAA

With the blue tongue I could conceivably see how this was intended to be innocuous but it isn't how it came off which is all the more argument for someone riding herd on talents' social media presence. At this point we could start a pool about which AEW talent will have a social media blunder so bad that Vince will bother to drag it during an earnings call.

I'd be more willing to give JR the benefit of the doubt if he wasn't always like this with women on social media.

You'll probably see some decent matches, but even at its best WWE TV tapings are usually pretty start and stop with how often they go to breaks and do backstage bits.

Ultimately I think it's just down to how much that specific part bothers you. Even bad wrestling is usually some degree of fun in-person.

The amount of backstage segements on the titantron, and the titantron showing ads in a darkened arena during commercials while wrestlers just stand in the ring, make Raw a pretty crappy live experience

The deal with AEW was that they could do any Mexican promotion until tv started. AAA was the one that did not liked the boost the LB gave to CMLL. It also did not help that the LB started double booking themselves and affecting AAA tv and house shows dates. AAA has some hold with them, specially with the copyright of their names.

Yeah Penta going back to Pentagon Jr. pretty much full time outside of AAA nowadays was a good hint that their relationship is solid

My impression was Pentagon/Fenix were still under Lucha Underground deals until very recently.

I just discovered they made "Little People" versions of Savage and Warrior. I had to buy them for my two year old. Yeah, that's who I bought them for.
