Should a giveaway thread or Freebies thread be in Hangouts?

I really like when the community comes together and shares extra stuff we don't need or want games wise. Odds are it'd be a lot like an OT. So I am guessing that goes in to hangouts? Any direction appreciated

It should be in Hangouts for the time being, so that we can reduce the amount of bots/lurkers taking codes from people who miss out.
