I waited for a sale before buying TLOU Remastered because of that, since I can't stand those types of games, but I ended up having no problems at all. Joel being able to sprint and the listen mechanic where you can detect your enemies position when they make noise made the game not being stressful for me.
From what I recall there's only one section that's kinda creepy but it's really short.
Honestly people just aren't going to care about TLOU2 multiplayer (or any Naughty Dog multiplayer) until it's afforded as much time and effort as the single player.
And we all know there's -0% chance of that happening.
Eh we probably won't get an MP reveal until closer to release. I think we'll get a meaty trailer at SoP and then gameplay will start to emerge from the media event once the embargo lifts.
And it shouldn't be just about graphics! They can do so much to build on those games mechanically and in terms of world systems. So, yea, let's pass on trying to rush masterpieces out for launch. Everyone doesn't need to be Nintendo. I'd rather delay Horizon 2 and release whatever multiplayer IP they seem to be working on, and grant Insomniac the same freedom. Let them make something else while Spiderman gets more time in the oven.

I don't see either being at launch. Late 2021 at the earliest for Spider-Man but I think it is more likely that both come in 2022.
Absolutely. I dont enjoy RE much, but I loved TLOU. Sometimes I got tired of the infected enemies but the game has a goood pace and variety so it doesn't get in the way of the experience.
Yes,The Last of Us has more humans enemies than zombies,it is more survival than horror.
I don't see God of War 2 out before 2022.
Best bet? Guerilla and Horizon.
By the time PS5 launches in Fall 2020, Guerilla will have had close to 4 years since zero dawn.
I have no idea if that is enough or not. I would think so, with the engine done, and the foundation of the game already built with hardware that is pretty similar to the PS4.
Why would Sony give two shits about what happening with gears 5 in 2020.

Japan studio is a good bet. They haven't had a big project since Knack 2 or Astrobot.
And Horizon 2 will probably be within the first year or two, but it won't be at launch.

I wonder if Sony can just show a new first party game and not announce the console it is coming for then in 2020 showcase another trailer during the PS5 reveal event and have it saw PS5 underneath
