Pretty much lol.People asking for SS without motion controls usually haven't played SS.

How much swimming is there?Because it literally has some of the worst swimming controls of all time.
Hey, I'm not saying the motion controls are great, far from it lol. Some of us tried (and even finished it), but you can't blame us. The motion controls were shit.
There's a section in the last third of the game where you spend an extended period of time swimming. How much swimming is there?
Ive spent years debating on whether or not to just buy the wii version for 50 just to play it and I can never bring myself to
Git Gud.Because it literally has some of the worst swimming controls of all time.
Bummer, I'd love to play it with good game play and not the awful implementation of the motion controls.
I loved the swordplay but HATED swimming, my gawd. It was seriously so annoying when coupled with that annoying fetch quest.Because it literally has some of the worst swimming controls of all time.
Glorious Wind Waker HD is gonna die on the Wii U 😢Then I'd love a Wind Waker HD/Twilight Princess HD pack for the Switch.

You might be thinking of Twilight Princess, which had poor motion controls.
Skyward Sword is built around them and they work incredibly well the majority of the time.
I'll admit I hadn't thought about people who are less able to play using motion controls, I take back what I said then. More accessibility options can only be a good thing even if they aren't for me personally.
It's the fact that you control Link's body and direction with the wii remote while iirc having to mash A to move and flicking it to jump it so just...makes it last so much longer than it seemsJesus
I just wanna experience the Cistern man whys it gotta have all this extra baggage

Both are awful but I am thinking of my time when I owned Skyward Sword. I loved the art style and exploring but hated the controls.
Nah, Metroid Prime 3 is much simpler. Skyrward is a complicated case. This is how I feel about MP3: Corruption as well, and one of the reasons im doubtful about a Trilogy Switch remaster.

Can you imagine the gamer rage if a Zelda game shipped without Pro Controller support?
It was never 'just fine', or rather, it was always cumbersome, and in fact, was never a decent solution at all. Slashes were inconsistent and cursor control for menus was a bit of a nightmare since BoTW cursors used gyro/accelerometer data to determine onscreen cursor location instead of IR.I remember people emulating this fine in Dolphin back in the day by binding cursor directions to the right stick.
Seriously?Sometimes I feel like I've been living under a rock – I really had no idea that Skyward Sword was so poorly received, nor that its motion controls were so reviled.
There's like one really bad swimming section late game that lasts maybe half an hour to an hour. How much swimming is there?
