Hard pass, the effort of unlocking characters will feel more rewarding once I get them. I can understand others just wanting to get them on the spot though

Some of my favorite Smash memories were actually fighting/unlocking the playable characters, so it wouldn't matter to me either way.

Considering I help assist in fighting game tournaments, and we would need multiple copies of the game anyway, I would buy our group copies from Gamestop so they'd be tournament ready out the gate.
