Smash Ultimate DLC character #6 is from ARMS and is coming in June

Min Min beat her in the popularity tournament and is the Devs favorite, plus she could have one of the guys as half her alts(or even multiple other arms users as her alts)
Happy to see any Arms character confirmed, but I think them calling attention to which character it might be means there is a specific twist with that. I'm wondering if there is a Mii Fighter scenario with selectable characters/arms. That would be wiiiild
Seeing as how swapping your ARMS was the main basis of the game, I could actuallly 100% see that happening.
and with them putting so much into making all the characters in the DLC super unique and have their own gimmicks (random spells, separate forward and back airs, arsene), and the fact that he doesnt half ass shit like that, I could almost see himhaving an option to choose a "body" that has maybe one different move for one of the specials.
so one special would be unique for each fist, one they all share, and one thats unique to the body choice.
considering the timeframe between characers it could be theroetically possible, though just changig the hands could be enough of a gimmick for them.
Only 5 out of ARMS's 15-character roster is in the base game as spirits. If you also count Hedlok & Biff, that's a solid 12 spirits left to add.
You have to remember though that people also used the Spirit Board to "deconfirm" characters who already had spirits, but of course I was always skeptical of that.
so this fighter can't be on the spirit board then and if it is he will break the spirits rule completely.
At the same time, Day 1 spirits were decided before the Fighters Pass Vol. 1 characters were finalized. Plus if that was the case, you'd rule out the two most popular characters from ARMS, & that's on top of the MC already being an Assist Trophy.
Even if it's just Spring Man I'll be happy as I loved ARMS and really wanted to see it in Smash.

Yeah, base game spirits rule is out.
Unless they're putting in one of the fighters that don't have spirits, which would be...weird? And also hard confirm spirit rule.
They still refer to her hair as arms, so it's not a huge deal.
I win more than anyone because it means Spirits no longer deconfirm and Geno is now a hard lock.
They probably told us ahead of time to avoid another Byleth situation (where some would hope for a third-party characters). As for how it was handled, the mystery kinda rules out Spring Man & Ribbon Girl in my opinion since they'd be too obvious (more so Spring Man).
Twintelle wouldn't be an echo fighter because she would need an entirely different rig and animations from the other ARMs fighters.

So, as someone who knows nothing about ARMS except who Springman and Twintelle are, I'm guessing the latter is not it because she doesn't have extendable arms. But the former is already an AT, so is there someone else who could realistically be the fighter? Is Ribbon Girl possible?

I don't hear anyone talking about Lola. It's crazy that this is the dlc that gets me to play smash again. It was the only series I wanted to play as :)
Whoa there, why the Terry hate? I can understand having grievances against Atlus & Sugiyama in addition to Smash adding another FE character. But this Terry slander........why?
Above everything I'm just glad this may mean more Nintendo reps as DLC. Hopefully at least a 3-3 split if not 4-2. Now with ARMS and Xenoblade 2 being likely, it would be cool if as the final batch of DLC this pack represented Switch Era Nintendo.
Give me ARMS, Xenoblade 2, Pokemon, and Animal Crossing/Splatoon and I'd be beyond floored. The last two can go to Geno and some other third party.

A shame that Ring Fit Adventure & Astral Chain came too recently for Vol. 2. They would have truly made the Nintendo representation feel complete (them, a Rhythm Heaven rep, & Dixie Kong).
You prefer not to have the first black woman in smash because it would also make the thirsty crowd happy?
It's always cute to me that you always assume that people don't like Joker and Hero for those reasons.
I'm being genuine, I wish I could be that optimistic.
I'm mainly saying I can understand if those were the reasons for the respective characters.
