He spent effort on something and didn't get the result he wanted so I can sympathize.
Feel like a thread should be made after the fact and not before if he does intentionally DQ himself.
Well he's choosing not to turn up, which is getting him DQed. Withdrawing isn't the correct term unless he's made an effort to contact the organisers appropriately, which I doubt.

You are probably right, I got caught up in the Evo hype. I think wave 1 pools are ending very soon though and I've tried to find a source of him showing up or not to no success.

None of this is making sense to me. Can somebody explain this? I have no idea what this is saying. Is saved data shared between Smash and FE? Seems like Evo rules would ignore saves but I don't know? This isn't adding up.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses released a week ago and he has been playing non stop apparently.
I would assume this is a joke thread, but this is Smash so I'm not so sure. Every time I chalk up something in the community to a joke, it turns out to be true.
