EDIT: I should mention that this person is a personal acquaintance of mine. I'm not sure if he is serious, but it's not an impossibility. He can be a very emotional guy.

Thanks! Yeah as I replied to someone else, this was made a bit premature in the Evo hype and I kinda regret it now. Let's hope a good nights sleep makes him feel a bit better about it.
Edit: to clarify when I made this thread, the early pools were underway and I assumed MuteAce was part of these early pools and thus it being confirmed that he didn't show.

I am sure both Advance War peeps are perfectly "normal" people, but when you have a large group of people, one or the other will be odd.

Why is something in a totally unrelated game causing this dude to want to withdraw from EVO?
If you're not in a good state mentally/emotionally, it could affect how you play in high-pressure situations, and then if you perform badly it could make you resent your experience at the tournament.
Also, he's literally a kid and is still developing mentally/emotionally. Give him a break.

Definitely not my intention, but when I made it I was under the impression the DQ had been confirmed which it hasn't and it might be good to lock the thread.
Its also bad because there's a good chance he was joking about not playing. Social media is fucked up sometimes. Being at EVO is probably anxiety/stress inducing for a lot of people, let alone a young teenager.
