We'll be talking the same shit in twenty years when they have concentration camps, because Palestinians are brown and majority Muslim and Israel is the fucking teflon state, pretending to be a liberal democracy when they are clearly not.
Since they are already committing it right now, of course it can mean that.ex-fucking-cuse me? anyone who could be a future threat? one could easily extend that logic to include ethnic cleansing, which i guess is the point
i adamantly defend the policy of fuck you
You'd think a group of people that went through some horrible shit, who still want us to never forget it, can in less than a century forget that and start resembling and doing equally horrible things
The nation of Israel seems to have taken the defensive stance of "if you can't beat them..."You'd think a group of people that went through some horrible shit, who still want us to never forget it, can in less than a century forget that and start resembling and doing equally horrible things
Indeed, and it's so frustrating that not only will the US do nothing, but that there's like, no option to really change that at all. Republicans refuse to criticize Israel at all, and it's the same thing with most Democrats as well and that the farthest most Democrats are willing to go is still typically just absolutely toothless finger-wagging at worst that Israel obviously doesn't care much about. Both of our major political parties are completely spineless when it comes to the issue of Israel and offer them so much as the slightest critique for all of their war crimes and violations of human rights of Palestinians and fine with appointing representatives to the UN that will just instantly veto anything and everyting, and just let it all continue unopposed. It's just so crushing knowing that things have to change, they absolutely have to because way too much has happened already, but they just absolutely refuse to because no one's actually willing to fight that fight and take a stance on this. The whole thing it's just so fucking frustrating and depressing to think about, and makes me feel so powerless, much more so than most other stuff in politics just due to the feeling of having so little options regarding change on this issue. Just ugh. :(
I'm really enjoying No Tears Left To Cry by Ariana Grande.
Fogel's statements could be used as evidence of intent if Israeli leaders are ever tried for war crimes at the International Criminal Court.
If you're a politician in Israel, you can't call it murder either.Wow, didn't think he'd just come out and say it. The Israeli military murders children because they may be a future threat. Pretty sure that's ethnic cleansing. Too bad most of our government and population won't care. Disgusting.
Israeli-Palestinian lawmaker Haneen Zoabi was suspended from the Knesset for a week by the ethics committee last week, after the committee reviewed a case where Zoabi suggested that Israeli Defense Forces soldiers murder Palestinians.
Zoabi had made her comments at a Knesset committee discussion last month, and it was actually lawmaker Oren Hazan who had complained about her – the same one who recently said he would put Ahed Tamimi "in hospital", the same one who recently called Gazan families visiting relatives in Israeli prison "dogs", "human scum" and "beasts".
This has been going on for years , and to think some people actually believe the US gives a fuck about human rights
The people who genuinely believe that are in the minority, however, just because U.S ignores other atrocities does not mean it should for all.
There is always someone to defend it when Israel gets critized. There is no defense for this.
That being said I'm sure some loon will try.
I doubt mainstream outlets will report on this.Any mainstream or neutral news organizations picking this up? Only seen RT, Sputnik News, and a conspiracy theory site running with it so far. I read the transcript, and it's pretty damning.

Fogel said:Fogel adamantly defends the policy, stating: "At the tactical level, any person who gets close to the fence, anyone who could be a future threat to the border of the State of Israel and its residents, should bear a price for that violation."
There is always someone to defend it when Israel gets critized.
I didn't listen to the whole thing, but the minutes that I did were dead accurate.Edit: Maybe someone fluent in English and Hebrew can vouch for the accuracy of the translation.

The question is why? Is every US politician in Israel's pocket?Indeed, and it's so frustrating that not only will the US do nothing, but that there's like, no option to really change that at all. Well if Electronic Intifada says it is true...
That is the source. They are quoting a "reserve" general with a Wikipedia page.
