I can say that the Metal Slug 3 ost has been on Spotify for some time now and is one of my all time favorites

SNK used to release AST of their games until 2000 when they went bankrupt/stopped making games for the Neo Geo CD thay made use of it. They returned with 2003 and XI but the differece between the OST and AST was minimal. By KOF XII there was no need of an AST since the OST was played with real instruments
Arranged Soundtracks, the remixes from the Neo Geo CD versions of those games.

I'm 90% that no Metal Slug game got an AST
Garou didnt got one either.
You can still hear rips with arrange music from the console versions, but isnt the same since those are tracks with short loops compared to the arrange music where they took more liberties

Yeah these have been up for a while, it's awesome. Garou and KoF soundtracks are on repeat on my Spotify

I'm positive that Garou's OST was on Spotify before today at the very least. Maybe they uploaded more suddenly? Either way, yeah, game companies need to be more vocal about their OST library being on streaming services.
