no, but don't get pedantic when people disagree with youdo we really need to explicitly preface every opinion in the world with "this is what I think"
come on
Hey now, let's at least elect something with a coherent plot
Combat accounts for most of the playtime though? The game has great combat. Too bad it accounts for like 30% of play time
Ie the least important aspect of a game.
Oh absolutely, the potential is there. If it ever gets a sequel that improves in a few areas, that game would become one of my favorite games ever. Like Kyle, we needed more Kyle.
They're very different experiences, so it's completely understandable why you would prefer one over the other....and vice versa for someone else.I know this is going to sound like blasphemy, but I'm liking it a lot more than DMC5 at the moment.
Astral Chain has better combat than Bayonetta 2.In particular, the Bayonetta games have a far better combat system than it
As the OP says... The gameplay and OST are stellar.
I know you like Control, but I'm not impressed by it at all.I believe Blair Witch was good, but not that good. So I can't see which game can take the second spot from Astral Chain. Man of Medan?
I mean, the combat itself is fine but it's hurt by the bad performance. If we're just talking about combat then games like DMCV blow it away in that regard. The OST was alright but not Platinum's best by a long shot.
There's also room for those that just don't think a flashy SCP third-person shooter is all that novel, either. I'm sorry you can't be happy for someone that considers Astral Chain their GOTY.
Yeah, I don't perceive AC as the same type of action game as DMC.They're very different experiences, so it's completely understandable why you would prefer one over the other....and vice versa for someone else.

I don't know about that guy but I'm totally fine with people considering Evangelion their GotYThere's also room for those that just don't think a flashy SCP third-person shooter is all that novel, either. I'm sorry you can't be happy for someone that considers Astral Chain their GOTY.
