Gang life is some crazy shit. I have no clue how people live day to day in that life.

just perusing that thread and it seems like the killers of tupac and biggie were an open secret. crazy these subcultures of gangs, the mafia, and the criminal underworld, not all related, just saying, people knew these things and just didn't talk or were killed themselves before they could be put on the record.

Not to boot. But he said can't touch this. He really means it.You think "Can't touch this" was a game?
Oh shit...He was crip walking the entire time but we just never noticed because of the parachute pants!
Stupid question: if Hammer was in deep with the Crips and Suge was deep with the Bloods, wouldn't that have caused too many issues?
There is a code among the African American gangs, both Blood and Crip. You don't snitch on anyone, no matter who or what. Not even if your mom or children get killed. You don't snitch. It's a unique code to the African American gangs. That's one of the big reasons the murders were never solved.
Mexican, Asian, and White gangs have a different code when it comes to snitching. For the most part you can snitch on other gangs if they are not the same race or nationality.
Probably then but 20 years later, a new gen of hip hop listeners going through the history of popular acts is going to be surprised by how gang affilated almost everyone was.
Not going to lie, I was alive for all of that and I completely forgot. A lot has changed since the 90's in terms of general perception.
J Prince is...is don't fuck with him basically. Roy Wood Jr told a story about how he tried to prank call him and basically had to leave Houston:People think Suge and Puffy are gangster, look into J Prince and Master P.
Snoop left Death Row and joined No Limit (Master P's label). Suge did nothing.

Back in the early-mid nineties I got this channel called The Box. That channel played music videos 24/7, hip hop almost exclusively, and Pumps and a Bump was played a lot. It was great for obscure rap videos you wouldn't see on like MTV. My friends were always amazed by Pumps and a Bump and the new Hammer. Another one we loved, in a so bad it's good way, was this gem by Deion Sanders.
Yes. Hammer punked him in a restaurant and had Ice copping pleas. Ice was a chump. Was there any beef between him and Ice cube? I'm assuming that line "you say I can't touch this, and I wouldn't touch ya, punk mother fucka" was aimed at him?
Snoop Dogg is a Rollin 60s Crip and Tha Dogg Pound were also Crips. They united for a common cause, the Deathrow business endeavor. Snoop has commented that between their entourages they had to squash minor misunderstandings as far as sides taking offense at the others' customs.Stupid question: if Hammer was in deep with the Crips and Suge was deep with the Bloods, wouldn't that have caused too many issues?
It make sense in hindsight, dude was wearing gold lame parachute pants in the early 90s and only 3rd Base had jokes? Nah everybody else knew better
2pac got n a shootout with the copsIt always cracked me up that MC Hammer was more legit than 2Pac.
You need to do some more research, this couldn't be further from the truth. It always cracked me up that MC Hammer was more legit than 2Pac.
