There's no need to jump to malicious conclusions, ignore the negative posters. Since you're older and probably have past partners, you very well may have HPV but never had symptoms. I've only had symptoms once and they went away with ointment. They never showed up again and it's been a decade since.

I thought HPV didn't show up on regular STD tests? You need to specifically ask for an HPV test.

There is no way for you to100% know anyone's sexual history, except your own. So maybe cool it with the pure and innocent stuff. I don't know your gf but you seem to be putting her up on a pedestal of purity and putting people up on pedestals never ends well.

It should be fairly know that HPV is an incredibly common virus and many people (yes, probably you too dear reader) have been exposed to it and didn't develop any symptoms. Goes to show how poor sexual education really is.

Sorry OP. You seriously might've given it to her and that's sorta the end of that whether or not you trust her is one thing but it's important to keep in mind that an awful lot of men are carriers of HPV and will never know.

Getting around Japan is fucking easy, most signs are written in English and people will fall over themselves to help you.

That's why there's a vaccine now. All the young women in my family have gotten it although I'm not sure if the cervical cancer thing is fear mongering or not. Might as well get one. I think they do it up until you're 30 or something.

Unless you get the symptoms you can't test for it. Lots of viruses can hide in the body and are very difficult to test for.

Also OP only said she said she has warts. Not if its HPV. It could very easily be molloscum.

So HPV causes warts for some people and none for others, but it is spread by skin contact with or without a condom. You could have carried it and given it to her. There's no test to check for it if you don't have any warts yourself.

A woman has genital warts, you have had sexual contact with her, and are therefore either her vector or a potential vector to other partners.
