Yeah, that's exactly why I want a horror game from them as well. Miyazaki's subtle way of storytelling fits the theme perfectly as well. That's precisely why Bloodborne is one of the best adaptations of Lovecraftian themes.

Preferably I'd just want new IP's rather than going back to ones already done. I don't mind going back to BB or DeS or even DS universe, but I don't see it providing anything positive compared to having a new exciting setting. Of course there's always the chance that a new setting isn't as appealing, but I'll take that chance over tiresome retreading of the same setting over and over.

Whatever they make I hope there's a PC version of it. I don't want to be stuck forever with poor 30 fps frame pacing and overzealous chromatic aberration like with BB.

Honestly- a good Armored Core or a 60fps semi re-release of Bloodbourne. I don't want them to get locked into the "we must only make souls-type games" though, so hopefully they have some flex.

I love the combo of sci-fi and horror so much, whether it's films like Alien and Event Horizon, books like Ship of Fools, Diamond Dogs or Blindsight or games like SOMA or Dead Space. From's take on that could be something truly amazing.
