It seems completely wild to me that after the massive success of Black Panther, Avengers Endgame and even Aquaman, the people at Square Enix decided to go with an exclusively white Avengers team. Even the OG Avengers movie at the very least featured Nick Fury, but Square proudly showed off a game in 2019 with 0 PoC and even threw in another white character as a stinger., What the actual hell is happening at the studio?

Makes me wonder if they're holding back heroes like Black Panther for later content updates/DLC because of how much more recent, fresh and popular they are? Start with the base, classic film line-up of heroes and then hook people with the promise of more recent MCU characters.

To be honest, I didn't notice this until you brought it up. But I also watched the footage only once.
It's not that difficult to be a bit diverse with the NPCs, so it's disappointing.

They really needed to make it clear they weren't basing the designs on the movies if they weren't going to get the likenesses... At the moment, it's the worst of both worlds.

Ant-Man was one of the first movies Marvel announced when they first talked about the MCU.
