Era's very own C. Tsubasa, who has his ears to the ground on various Nintendo related projects, has recently made some pretty interesting and cryptic teases about the possibility of something Halo related coming to the Switch. He has a solid track record, and if you recall, has accurately predicted things like the Link's Awakening remake, a Breath of the Wild sequel, Super Mario Maker 2, and more. When asked about whether or not we would see something like this at The Game Awards later today, he doesn't think it's likely, instead saying such a reveal is better suited to something like a Nintendo Direct.
It makes a lot of sense imo. Nintendo and Microsoft has had a great partnership going in the last several years, a fruitful relationship for both companies. As we know, we've been seeing multiple Xbox properties on the Switch, including an Ori port and Banjo in Super Smash Bros. In light of this, bringing over a blockbuster IP like Halo feels like less of a surprise and more of a natural step forward for all parties.
