Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel from the Segasonic arcade game.

They've been out of the series for a long time, only appearing in a few cameos until now.

That's cool but I was hoping for new stages. I'm guessing Mighty will play like Sonic and Ray will play like Knuckles. Maybe I'll double dip on this. I hope they added transitions for the stages that were missing them.

Apparently there's paid DLC for the upgrade. I was going to get it for Switch, but I might as well wait for this version.
