This, yes, please
It's already got English graphics in the code, just use them!

I picked it up from Game earlier for £24.99 on Switch.
Yeah, it's 29.99 everywhere online but for some reason Game were selling it for 24.99 in store (well at least the one I checked)
Encore has a different ending, though very short. Not animated either.
I'm guessing it's because in Encore Mode they wanted the sound to play if either character was drowning because they each have their own air meter and it doesn't reset when you switch, but I think they could have done it without ditching the music.
Player 1 could already force AI Tails into flight though.I'm guessing this could be the reason as well. If you compare this with mediocre things like Sonic Advance 3(which in most of cases, it bothers you more than help), this is a years ahead. I mean, I can use Tails-to-rescue without the need of an another player. No problems at all.
I've been on the fence with this game since it's launch, and one thing that kept me from buying it was the hearing that the levels and bosses had no checkpoints. You died and you started it all over. Is this still true in the updated version of the game?
That was never true. The lamp-post things are checkpoints, same as in Sonic 2 or 3.I've been on the fence with this game since it's launch, and one thing that kept me from buying it was the hearing that the levels and bosses had no checkpoints. Ray certainly interesting. His glide is actually pretty neat, but it soon becomes readily apparent that these stages were not designed with it in mind at all. There are certain stretches where you can kind of get some distance, but there are a lot of things that end up breaking your flow, and it's really not even complimentary to any of the platforming either.
He's basically the cape from Super Mario World, only with extra momentum. If he's already moving quickly when you start a glide he'll get some distance, but you can build more momentum by diving.I like Encore mode but I wish you could switch everyone you accumulated at will. Do I want a 2D Sonic Heroes mode just now? Maybe.
How does Ray work? I don't get him really.
The transition from Flying Battery to Press Garden is so perfect.
Man, one of these just sticks out like a sore thumb. Can't put my finger on it.

just to be a pedant, this is technically true if you're playing no save mode, but that's completely optional anyway. It was never true.
Sure if you got Game over you'd restart at the beginning of the Level. But if you die and you have 6 lives left, you restart at the last checkpoint.

Oh yeah, it's Cream the Rabbit, her ears are backwards.
who's the one in the top right, the blonde human next to elise and the two in the bottom right (not shade)?
1) Maria (Shadow's friend from Sonic Adventure 2)who's the one in the top right, the blonde human next to elise and the two in the bottom right (not shade)?
That was never true - stages have checkpoints just like the classic Sonic games did. The complaint was mostly that the "save game" feature only works on zones, not acts or checkpoints, so if you quit the game or get a game over halfway through act 2 you have to restart from act 1 when you load your save. Not sure if they've changed this?

Thanks. Yes, that's what I was talking about. So that hasn't changed though? If you die you're back at the start? I heard that was frustrating on the bosses. It was never true.
