I honestly just wanted to know and thought it was a good opportunity to ask here. I've never seen a furry thread and never seen someone answering this question. I rarely visit the off topic area.
Even reported and warned? What the hell? That's crazy. Am I too high and missing something?
Great moment. I'm extremely happy for him and the FGC/NRS scene. Proud to have him as our champion.
I still have PTSD from the handful of times I ran into SonicFox in Skullgirls, but he seems like a pretty cool guy. Fuck Republicans.
Congrats to him! I'm not into eSports at all but hey, gotta love anything that might upset the fucking nazis among this industry.
Maybe work to educate yourself a little before inferring that furries are zoophiles on a public forum with a significant population of furries.
I enjoyed his speech very much. He's really sweet, and bringing furries and LGBTQ+ people into the spotlight is always a good thing. I hope this sort of exposure gets more mainstream throughout the videogame community.

Not sure if anyone answered this in all the drama but: Dragon Ball Fighterz, Mortal Kombat, Injustice, Dead or Alive, and dabbles in a few other games. These are the ones he made a name for himself on in the last few years though.
Perhaps I was a little rash with my wording, but it comes up time and time again. I did not report you, just to be clear. The primary thing about furry is anthropomorphic characters(fantasy characters), not real animals. Most aren't interested in real animals in the way you were asking, and the few that are tend to have a very rough time in the community as animal abuse is VERY frowned upon.
Most just like having a cute fuzzball as a persona, or enjoy art/comics/novels containing anthropomorphic characters. That's not to say there isn't some skeevy or questionable stuff, but it's hard to find any fandom without some of that sort of thing.

Sure, I could have googled it myself, but I thought I ask right here, because I liked some online social interaction and I thought that question wouldn't be too off topic, because it's about the furry dude anyway. Besides, wouldn't that be beastiality (sex with animals) instead of zoopholia (interest in sexual stuff with animals)? So wouldn't be furry porn (which many seem to enjoy, including him) zoopholia (where I see to be no problem)
I could see that on the same level of stuff from the senran kagura games, which gets called out here as game for creeps and pedophiles etc.

He's a champion in Injustice 2, Dragon Ball Fighter Z and Soul Calibur 6 currently. Been a champ in MK9, MKX, Injustice, DoA5, MvCI and Skull Girls... And I'm sure I forgot some.
Only thing dirty about that was EVO staff taking so long before doing the coin toss.

Zoopholia isn't illegal and so you are not a criminal. Like zoophilic imagery is widely regarded as pornpgraphy. So furry porn is zoophilic. But it's no problem with the law.

Jk, I'm really happy tho that sonicfox won. The whole furry community should be happy that we have him.
Never heard of him before (I don't really follow the e-sports scene) but he seems super fun and genuinely seems like a good guy. The way he giggles is really contagious :) Don't understand the "he was cringy" comments, he was awesome.
This was really cool, fun and heartwarming. Really glad. Of course, Resetera managed to turn it into some ugly American-centered shit, but that's Era.

Check out people talking about Solatorobo back in 2008. People were practically terrified of a game starring anthropomorphic cats and dogs.
Putting aside the issue that furries aren't an exclusively sexual fandom, those who are into the porn are into it for distinctly anthropomorphized fantasy creatures inspired by real-life animals. The sexual fantasy is for human beings with animal traits, not the animals from which those traits are taken. In contrast, zoophilia and bestiality are the attraction to and abuse of real non-human animals, neither of which have anything to do with people who wear cartoon mascot suits at conventions.
I sincerely hope you're just misinformed about this and not just playing dumb so you can make oblique innuendos about how furries are secretly wanting to fuck your dog, because the latter is annoyingly common.
SonicFox seems like a cool dude! Happy for him. He brought just the right flavor to the show, wish there were more moments like that.
Never really cared for the guy, but this speech changed my view on him.
