I thought the first one came out on Xbox One after a while, probably got confused with Automata I suppose.
Agreed. They had a premise that was on the level of Assassin's Creed in terms of being able to jump from one historical setting to the next.
Sony is literally sitting on a goldmine.
Mads has said there's still more left for him, so not completely. It's pretty clear that the game is most likely done and they're just localizing it.
Well from my end it's just little pieces of information adding up.
Yeah, that was confirmed when it was announced.
Honestly reading the context I think he meant the collective "we" as in everyone involved in the game. Regardless he did say it was only "little things".Mads has said there's still more left for him, so not completely.
It could be a timed exclusive. We don't know yet. But Sony seems to be involved in some capacity.
I took it to mean the actors because I doubt he has any knowledge of studio happenings, but idk. Could be stuff as simple as ADR.Honestly reading the context I think he meant the collective "we" as in everyone involved in the game. Regardless he did say it was only "little things".
I'm thinking both TLOU2 and DS will release in 2019. Brace yourselves folks.Yeah, I'm not believing any of the Death Stranding rumors. 2019 just seems way too early.
AAA new IP that's ridiculously ambitious? Early 2021 I'm thinking.

Kojima didn't have to build an engine from the ground up since he was gifted the Decima engine. And when you pair that with the fact that Playstation execs said they've never seen a game being made this quickly, it won't really shock me if it's this year. And there's so much scuttlebutt about a 2019 release that it's hard to ignore.Yeah, I'm not believing any of the Death Stranding rumors. 2019 just seems way too early.

Same. Not even expecting them to start talking about anything until PSX 2019.
So Days Gone, Dreams, Concrete Genie, Medievil, Blood and Truth, and some other smaller titles are the only games you're expecting to hear about from Sony in 2019?Same. Not even expecting them to start talking about anything until PSX 2019.
Talking about next-gen stuff. I think we might see TLOU or DS, but that's the icing on the cake to what's already shaping up to be a great year.So Days Gone, Dreams, Concrete Genie, Medievil, Blood and Truth, and some other smaller titles are the only games you're expecting to hear about from Sony in 2019?
I'll just go ahead and get mine out the way.Andrew Goldfarb has been around "a lot" with Shuhei in the past few weeks. 👀
IIRC Sony was the publisher only in the west.I think Sony will be the publisher, just like happened with the first game.
Joking aside that would be a fantastic date as the actual invasion happened in Oct 1274.
Correct.
TLoU2: February 2020
Ghosts: Holiday 2020
Death Stranding: 2021 cross-platform PS4/PS5 launch title
Horizon 2: PS5 within a year of launch
So you think PS5 will be released only in 2021? Anyway, I believe that at least one of the three games will be released in 2019.

I can see sucker punch doing that if Ghost of Tsushima is successful they could do a Ghost of "some other place that is being invaded". Different time period and location without them being connected. They had a premise that was on the level of Assassin's Creed in terms of being able to jump from one historical setting to the next.

Top tier insider info. The Last of Us PII is coming this year, and I have a undeniable proof for that: I had a dream last night that the game is basically complete and they are just waiting for Days Gone to release to start the marketing campaign.
There, can't argue with that.
Dreams are only 1 step below official announcement for me, so I'm going to go pre-order right now. DOA just like that thread.
Why? If they somehow announce PS5 with BC at PSX in December we'll all know we can play It on the PS5?
Doesn't really matter where you play it as long it's on a Sony machine, ps4 is hitting 100m soon enough
Announcing, "hey, these will be cross platform to next gen?" I just think some would have poor tastes in their mouth given how long we've known about these games.
Im not saying that's the best reaction, I just think some folks would look back on Sony and the way they marketed the PS4 with those games more critically if they did such a thing.
If those games were PS5 exclusive that would be a very bad look, but making them for PS4/PS5 erases any issue.
