So, if the game does come out in 2019, should we be worried about the quality? Uncharted 4 was 2016, and Lost Legacy was 2017... leaving 2 years for development, 3 years at most if we assume that the entire team was not on Lost Legacy (but considering how it essentially morphed into a stand-alone Uncharted campaign, I'm willing to bet at least significant manpower and resources were devoted to it).
It feels weird to complain about a game coming out TOO early, but in this day and age I'm expecting the dev time to truly do these AAA juggernauts justice in the 4-5 year range. Either TLOU2 will end up disappointing due to a rushed development/lack of polish or Naughty Dog upped the crunch.... and the implications of that are even more uncomfortable.
Or maybe I'm just a massive pessimist and ND work really smart and efficiently.
