Sony price-hiked their games a while ago. God of War was the first one with the price-hike.Kind of off-topic but still related to PSN, shouldn't Death Stranding be 59,99€ and 69,99€? In my store it's 10€ more than usual for sony games.

They don't have euros. Switzerland too and the price of the 12 month subscription will raise there too
We can always dream. But the real reason is simple: They are the undisputed market leader in Europe. They raise their prices because they can.Maybe the idea is to have just 1 service that include both Plus & Now?
Gradually increasing the prices and then merging both the service to make it all look more like a great deal...?
Considering I dont play online at all, next year I will not renew if nothing changes... this is not a service for me at this point.
Competition? You don't value it?
What are they gonna replace them with?WTF AGAIN!? still only 2 mediocre games ? no replacement games for ps3 and psp..
No one would be subbing if MP was free, they know that. So does MicrosoftNot good, free games are just a trojan horse really, if it wasn't for mp games I'm sure most wouldn't sub
Not sure if anything has changed now, cause my current sub is until June 2020, I purchased 3 years worth back in 2017 during a sale. You must likely won't be able to do that. All PS Plus sales for the past year have been restricted from current subscribers, preventing you from stacking them. However, the last time it was possible was last year's "Days of Play" so there may be an exception here. Just don't go adding funds to the wallet yet.
You serious? What competition are you talking about?
Yes, cards should work. The store hasn't allowed you to stack Plus on sale since last year's Days of Play which was the last time you could do so. The couple of Plus sales they've done since then (Black Friday, Christmas and one in March this year) they didn't let current subscribers buy extra time. Not sure if anything has changed now, cause my current sub is until June 2020, I purchased 3 years worth back in 2017 during a sale.
But yeah will wait once the sale starts and see again. If subbing directly doesn't work I will just get the subscription card directly to stack cause there is a promotion for that too (12 months + 3 months).
Here are the promotions for those holding a Singapore account, valid from 7-17 June.
MS just raised the price in the UK.Thanks Nintendo for lowering the bar.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is killing it.
Maybe backend job.Where was the big PS Plus update/changeup they talked about last year?
That doesn't change the fact that it's factually increasing -again- in those regions. It doesn't say anywhere that for most territories the 12 month sub is not affected.
You can do it via a browser too. Just log into your PSN account, click on your PSN icon/avatar and choose "Subscriptions Management".Can you turn off auto renew from your phone, or does it have to be done on the PS4?
CroatiaI've updated the OP with some examples. Feel free to quote me with information on how your country is affected and I'll add that too.

What's dramatic about that?
You won't be playing online then.I'm so unimpressed with what PS+ has been for the last several months and now this. If this price hike makes it overseas, I'm not subbing again.
There's nothing wrong with ops title because it's true.I'm perfectly aware that they increased the prices across the board in 2017. My question of 'again?' is because that isn't what is happening here. Your thread title and initial OP is a bit more dramatic than necessary.
If that's the case, that means Sony have more money to make more AAA games.

That's not happening as long as every console has an online paywall. That's what is making people sub to PS Plus and Live Gold - they're forced to do it to play online with friends.I hope this subscription model dies soon or at least go back to real value because as of right now, PS Plus is a joke.
I am fully aware?
Is there people really paying for this? Holy shit this is getting ridiculous.
I paid 8€ for month so I can try out all the new betas this month but imagine paying monthly, that's significant amount of cash.
