Who said that PS4 is not king in Spain? Software Market Share for PS4 is 64%, and second is 3DS with 12%.

Man the others category makes me sad :(

It's not all terrible, actually. Of the Japanese games, only NieR is localized (and even then the original print run for that was extremely low, the game was sold out for weeks after the first weekend), and the others, while not exactly justifying the original development costs, are fairly decent for niche English-only releases. For reference, PS2 Okami sold around 4k units originally, and that was on PS2, with no digital and no PC versions.

Injustice, Prey and Wolfenstein, though... yeah.

You mean in the PAL thread for this week or which thread are you referring to?

Yes.

Spain:
Week 03, 2018 - All Formats (Units)

01 (-) PS4 FIFA 18 - 6,800 / 675,000
02 (-) PS4 Grand Theft Auto V - 4,100 / 725,000
03 (-) PS4 Call of Duty: WWII - 4,100 / 440,000
04 (-) PS4 Assassin's Creed Origins - 3,500 / 153,000
05 (-) NSW Super Mario Odyssey - 2,500 / 210,000

January 6 is Christmas Eve 2 in Spain, so it's not as unlikely as it would seem.

Oh thanks I didn't know.

Yeah it seems that some titles have really benefited from it (CoD, Fifa, SMO...).

The Switch big 3 with 40-50% ratio and splatoon with a 20% ratio makes me happy.
Some RPG numbers until week 49 (Hobby Consolas). They had Xenoblade 2 numbers:

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2: 15094 1/3 of that limited edition
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: 6423 in Nintendo Switch. 2655 in PlayStation VR.

So now numbers could be a bit more.
Xenoblade outselling Persona and Nier sure is a interesting result.

We also got this Top10 (ending Week 1), the numbers are significantly bigger thanks to El Dia de Reyes like many mentionned earlier in this thread.

Persona 5, in Portugal, and most of World went soldout on the Launch, some contries never had restocks, or had much latter, and the difital salaes went crazy, Persona was at top digital sales for that month.

Good point.

Bruno MB we had Mario Odyssey at 210k in this week's thread. How do you explain the difference between the two figures ?

Selling 82.5k in 3 weeks seems too much for the Spanish market.

4 weeks (from week 52, 2017 to week 03, 2018),

The first week of the year can be as big as the biggest week of December due to Three Kings Day tradition.

Also, these figures don't include hard bundles, if hard bundles were included Super Mario Odyssey would be ahead of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Wow at those Uncharted: The Lost Legacy numbers. It sold more than Horizon which is really weird imo.

That is because during Black Friday week almost every PlayStation 4 sold included a copy of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

3 weeks ( week 52, 1 and 2), it was at 207.5k at the end of Week 2 ;)

But yeah, I didn't know how big the 1st week of January could be. That's amazing.

OP's 2017 numbers are until December 23rd. The numbers that I posted were until January 7th.
In any case, numbers are from different sources. Something like Famitsu and Media Create in Japan.

If >300k of Switch sold is true, these software numbers are a little short I think. Nintendo games should have a better ratio.

Well this sure shows how important localization is

Sure it is, i live in Italy and a lot of people are complaning about the missing localization of some games, Persona 5 and the Yakuza series for example, without counting cRPGs like Torment or DivinityOS2, the first Divinity has a fan made localization in italian and they are working on DOS2 too.
