Wow, the difference here is crazy. I figured NMS would be selling better (or as good as) the PS4 version considering it's 2 years old on the PS4 at this point. I guess the price difference won't help.

Edit: Ah, didn't realise this was Spain at first. That explains things.

Are 100:1 splits typical for PS4 and XB1 games in Spain? I know Xbox doesn't perform well in Europe outside of the UK, but I thought it was more like 5:1 or 10:1, not 100:1.

Seems like a pretty good performance for No Man's Sky and Octopath though.

Yes it's typical.

Xbox is almost inexistant in Spain.

No, it's not.

Ps4 version was released two years ago, when the game was hyped.

Octopath has been a great success story in Spain.

I argued in past threads about Switch doing on par/better with PS4 on similar releases (at the exception of FIFA/COD) and Sonic Mania is another one to the list.

Given the small size of the sample, data is not conclusive yet but each new releases day and date seem to indicate that I am right.

For the rest of the year, I am expecting VC4, StarLink, Tales of Vesperia to do better on Switch. Fifa and 2K better on PS4.

It's life time sales, so of course the split is more lopsided than normal since PS4 version sold for 2 years prior. Late release also has a lower sales potential in itself for the XB1 version.

For simultaneous releases we regularly see 10:1 splits, which are still quite massive.

First week was about on par with UK. This is for 5 weeks of tracking.
