Would love some DQ9, Persona 5, Xenoblade 2, Ni no Kuni 2 and Octopath numbers to put DQXI number in context. But it looks pretty good?

Marvel's Spider-Man debuted selling the exact same amount as Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

Dragon Quest Builders has a cumulative sales of 6,500 units in PlayStation 4.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 had a worse debut than Yakuza Kiwami, but its sales are in line with the rest of the series.

Anyway this is an extremely niche series.

Yakuza 0 (PlayStation 4) - 1,250 (3 weeks)
Yakuza Kiwami (PlayStation 4) - 2,428 (3 weeks)
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PlayStation 4) - 1,800 (4 weeks)

Persona 5 : 10 000 as of week 45,2017 (several months)
Xenoblade 2 : 19 000 as of week 15,2018 (a few months)
Octopath Traveler : 17 600 as of week 32, 2018 (a few weeks)
Ni No Kuni 2 : 10 000 as of week 15,2018 ( a few weeks)

Niche games and not translated to Spanish = low sales.

Just because Xbox 360 got outsold by PlayStation 3 does not mean that it wasn't a successful platform, it was and sold great amounts of software too.
