Switch seems a heslthy system.

Atlus only has to blame but themselves. 10.000 is a lot without any kind of spanish subs (and too little for an anime game in spain at the same time, wouldnt surprise depending of marketing that xenoblade 2 sells much better). They should really start thinking their strategy here if the want to double those sales someday.

Gran Turismo Sport was tracked for 4 weeks and is struggling to match the numbers of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Evidently it will quickly outsell it during the Holiday season due to price promotions and bundles but it is a very slow launch for what once was the flagship Sony IP.

Games like Uncharted 4 or Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy dwarf its launch sales figures.

No, they only disclosed the cumulative sales of the PlayStation 4 version (314,871). The Nintendo Switch version must have sold around 12,000 units.

Going by the software figures, it must be something like a ratio of 11:1 in terms of how many PlayStation 4 consoles are sold for every Xbox One in Spain. I knew the PlayStation brand was strong in Europe, but not this strong...

It's nice to see the Switch doing really well!

xbox brand is pretty much irrelevant in continental europe. the playstation brand really dominates here and microsoft simply cant distinguish their product enough. they got some mindshare with the 360 but even then playstatiom 3 sold way more here.

Nintendo always sell decent - wii u aside - because of their inovations, be it motion controls, 3d or hybrid console, because of the hardcore nintendo fans, retro gamers and kids.

kids here love inazuna eleven, yokai watch, pokemon and splatoon

Physical only, PC software sales represent 5% of retail video game sales in Spain. The share is lower for non budget games.

Mario Odyssey did extremely well. Mario + Rabbids shows what third party titles can sell well on Switch. Sonic Forces also points into that direction, even if sales across all platforms weren't very high.

While it is true, the games itself weren't. Iirc MK8 still is the highest selling 1st party game of this gen.
