I'm sure Aaron will be right on thatI hope they detail the PS4 version and maybe a play together-initiative that does not involve XBL? (I mean the game is on Steam so..)

Seriously. KB+M v Controller = Controller KIA
What do you mean?
I believe they've stated this is on pc with an xbox controllerIs this Xbox One X footage...it actually looks pretty good...draw distance looks nice.

Pretty sure they're playing on PC with a controllerThis xbox version is performing better than my more powerful PC version.
Controller versus Keyboard and Mouse. KB+M is infinitely more precise for this game.
Shit, so this isn't a PC with XBO/X specs, just a beefed up PC with controller? Bleh
Yeah. I only ask because they've floated that idea aroundController users would be completely and utterly dominated by KB+M players. Especially noticeable when it's a completely competitive game.
I was under the impression that they had all those people there playing on controllers as well.Controller users would be completely and utterly dominated by KB+M players. Especially noticeable when it's a completely competitive game.
We are talking about asking for crossplay and how unfair it would be for those on console.I was under the impression that they had all those people there playing on controllers as well.
Lmao you gotta keep in mind Aaron Greenburg is with them and that they already stated that they are focusing on the xbox platform at the moment.I hope they detail the PS4 version and maybe a play together-initiative that does not involve XBL? (I mean the game is on Steam so..)
As someone who vastly prefers controllers over kb+m, why are controllers bad for this game?
I was under the impression that they had all those people there playing on controllers as well.
It's more that the current controller support in the PC version is pretty bad. It feels like those PC programs you'd use to emualte KB&M rather than any sort of actual native support. As someone who vastly prefers controllers over kb+m, why are controllers bad for this game?

Just like in Gears of War 4. Oh wait.Controller users would be completely and utterly dominated by KB+M players. Especially noticeable when it's a completely competitive game.
Oh I see now. I just saw the last part of his quoted post and didn't see the first. We are talking about asking for crossplay and how unfair it would be for those on console.
Totally. Unless there was some "controller only" mode or something. Has there ever been a thing like that to exist though? I've seen it suggested times before, but can't remember an actual time it has happenedBut he was suggesting crossplay between the Xbox and PC and that would truly be an awful idea for controller players.
The controllers are not bad for the game, when everybody uses a controller. The problem arises when someone uses keyboard + mouse against a controller, as KB+M provides better accuracy. As someone who vastly prefers controllers over kb+m, why are controllers bad for this game?
A lot of very fine aiming (especially for long range fighting), sudden turning around, and dragging and dropping for fast inventory management and looting. As someone who vastly prefers controllers over kb+m, why are controllers bad for this game?

"Windows 10 and Xbox players had closely-matched results when comparing Average KD, Score and Kills per match based on skill ratings"
I honestly believe the whole KB/Mouse vs Controller argument is way overblown. My experience playing games like Titanfall 2, Gears 4, CoD, and others on my PC with a controller says otherwise. I never felt like I was completely and utterly dominated. Far from it in fact. I had great k/d ratios and overall enjoyable experience.
