I finished the main quests in fidelity mode and switched over to performance for cleanup up the sidequests and other things; it's hard to switch back to 30fps. This new mode sounds like an ideal solution. To be honest; I wonder if they can squeeze more out of it down the line.

What resolution?

Game was a night and day improvement at 60fps over 30. But if we can have some RT without the resolution being too impacted then that's really impressive.

Just wish it happened before I finished the game :(

Just when I finished the game! But this is awesome news. I really like 60fps, but just loved how the game looked with RT. Hopefuly, this is a nice middle-ground - can't wait to check it out.

Yup.

Personally, i really can't do 1080p anymore.

... i'll just admit that i really enjoyed the game playing it in 4k30 with RT on. Switched to 4k60 for a mission, but while the game certainly felt a bit better, it looked noticeably less "next gen".

That's amazing. I started the game with RT but once I tested the performance mode, I couldn't go back, it was just too smooth. I'll need to try this mode to 100% the game under.
