It didn't have it at all on release. It got pirated day 1. Pretty sure only the preview builds had it and that's why it's there.
I think most pirates have quite a bit of patience. Four days shouldn't be a problem.
Well we don't know HOW front loaded it is and honestly in this case i do think that LiS wasn't selling as well as Square hoped so they dropped Denuvo. It had a not so good launch week on STEAM.
The game never had Denuvo to begin with - even though it was listed on the store page.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm removed it after a week or so - which was great for ultrawide users, as the DRM was interfering with mods and previously required a cracked executable.
