Forspoken vanilla is 80€ on Steam, 105€ for the Deluxe. I think this is the very first 80€ game on Steam and it's not good.

That's $90 or $120 lol.

And then six months after release they'll say its sales were disappointing.

We all knew the $70 price hike would come to PC eventually.

Though the 80 euro pricing is bullshit.

They are also not doing any regional pricing.
Square is typically one of the worst ones when it comes to regional pricing, but even they did atleast some of it.
With this it doesn't seem they are doing any at all.

The FF Pixel Remaster collection was also quite high in price as well on Steam. Case could be made it's 6 whole games but still…

lol I'm not paying $70 USD for this. And I don't even think it looks "bad", I'm kind of intrigued. But $70 intrigued? Nope.

They launch their biggest games only in the Epic and then they want to charge 80€ for the one they release on Steam? Imaaao, good luck with that SE.

People in developing countries pay more than the people in USA.

And SE is still wondering why the sale of their games didn't meet their expectation.

£65 in the UK ($85).

Yeah... no.

I'll IsThereAnyDeal it for £30. I would do £50 at release for the zeitgeist, but if I'm not buying at release, I'm not paying release prices.

yeah it's too expensive, this might work for FF but for other or new IP this is going to be terrible for them.

Man this is bs. But then again square games drop in price pretty fast so I'll wait a couple months and then pick it up for 30€ or so.

Woooooooow. Easy pass at launch unless there's a grey market key I can nab.

Edit holy shit with that regional pricing lmao. And they'll come back at their investor presentation and be like 'huh it underperformed no idea why'.

EGS + shit pricing is the kiss of death lol.

The regional price here in Brazil is insane, even at 50% it would still be very expensive.

This is big no for me.

I usually buy from CDkeys when devs try shit like this. Everything else on Steam, GMG or Gamesplanet.

I can understand trying to pull this shit with an established IP, but a brand new one? Are they sending this one out to die?

Square's western games drop in price fast.
Their inhouse games don't unfortunately.

I usually buy from CDkeys when devs try shit like this. Everything else on Steam, GMG or Gamesplanet.
Considering the game is more expensive in other regions, I doubt even CDKeys will be of any help here.
