Oh, don't worry.I love how Rian Johnson, despite being one of the nicest people in Hollywood aperently, still have a sassy almost trolish side that comes out sometimes . he is a bit like Hamil himself in that regard actually .
I do not love that Disney found a way to make StarWars discussions even worse by bringing aboard the GoT dudes, even if personally think there is a great deal of overblown hyperbole regarding the last season .
Loving that discourse, yay
Oh, don't worry.
I'm sure now that D&D and RJ are working on things together, SW fans will unite and wash away all toxicity.
What could go wrong
Interesting.Iger:
"We did a deal with David Benioff and Dan Weiss, who are famous for 'Game of Thrones' and the next movie that we release will be theirs, and we're not saying anything more about that."
One movie, didn't say trilogy. Keep the RJ hope alive.

Still going, apparently.
Good point.
17 years ago (half my life ago!!) I had just turned 17 and on Friday May 17 I saw Attack of the Clones with a bunch of friends and my Junior Year math teacher came with us and bought a bunch of popcorn for everyone. What an incredible movie going experience that first time was. I'll never forget the audience pop when Yoda ignited his saber and began flipping around like a maniac. I know it's, like, hardly anyone's favorite but this movie will forever hold a special place in my heart.
I went and dug up my old calendar/journal from then and expectedly it's full of priceless gems from that week.
Mon. Watched Star Wars!
Tues. Episode 1 on DVD!
Wed. Freakin our man! STAR WARS COMES OUT TODAY. Went to Walmart got Obi-Wan, Jango and Yoda LEGO!
Thurs. Freaking out about Star Wars! Went to Walmart got Bounty Hunter pursuit LEGO and Luminara Unduli!
Fri. Star Wars II, b-day party!
Sat. Star Wars II !
Sun. Saw Star Wars II again! Got Kit Fisto Jedi Knight!
Yep, crazy how one movie can do that!I still can't get over that Solo shook them into a 3 year hiatus lol
Unreal
They could easily release shows and feature films if they felt the demand was there.I really dont feel like we are having a 3 year hiatus. That 3 year gap has Mandalorian, Cassian Andor series, and a third live action series.

I wonder if D&D's movie breaks the all time change.org record.
It still feels like a hiatus to me and what's even worse is that we're still going to be stuck in the Skywalker saga with the TV shows. The cool thing about the new movies is that it was going to give us something completely new that didn't have any strings attached to the past movies. Now we'll have to wait 3 years. Or maybe more, who the hell knows what D&D are doing.
Seeing people online compare TLJ to Season 8 of Game of Thrones is blowing my mind.
I jammed on Battlefront II for a couple of months around the middle of last year and had a blast. I'm probably an easy please because I don't really play shooters in general. I just wanted some Star Wars. I got more than I expected out of it and I'm thinking of hopping back in soon. How's the population on PS4 these days?
There have been a lot of dumb takes about the season, frankly.Seeing people online compare TLJ to Season 8 of Game of Thrones is blowing my mind.
Rian Johnson must be proud. Imagine creating such a transcendent piece of entertainment like TLJ that people can't help but bring it up and argue over it in every corner of nerdom. What an accomplishment.
This is an understatementThere have been a lot of dumb takes about the season, frankly.
