I'm interested to see where this goes, please keep us posted!
I'm a big fan of mysterious bits of seemingly disconnected info
Uuuh wonder if that was treverrow's idea.If the interview in question is this one there are no TROS spoilers whatsoever. He's talking about the original plan for Episode IX before Carrie died.

Todd seems to mention J.J. being great friends with Carrie as an explanation for that idea... but wasn't J.J. brought to Episode IX after Carrie's death?
I'll probably post excerpts eventually, I'm like 15000 words in so far.
Yup, no need to worry here.If the interview in question is this one there are no TROS spoilers whatsoever. He's talking about the original plan for Episode IX before Carrie died.
Honestly I'd love a well done SW politics book, so long as it's not trade route disputesFunny enough, I'm on the third draft of a thing that also takes some inspiration from Star Wars...but it's from TPM.
My tastes are very particular!

I got burned hard on Lost Stars, otherwise I would have read that book. Big waste of time, despite some bright moments.Bloodline is probably the best we've got in the new canon so far.

Oh jeez, Lost Stars is one of my favorites 😆And Claudia Gray is probably the best writer the new canon has up to now, although I haven read some others and in way behind on the comics.
I guess you've never been a big fan of expanded universe or expanded media stories.
I enjoyed some of the world building details. However the love story and young adult components reduced it to tired tropes with dialogue on par with the PT. And no it's not hyperbole, I read part of it out loud to my ex at the time because I couldn't believe how bad it was.. who legit laughed for a few minutes at some of the lines lolOh jeez, Lost Stars is one of my favorites 😆And Claudia Gray is probably the best writer the new canon has up to now, although I haven read some others and in way behind on the comics.

Alphabet Squadron coming to Disney+. 🤔I still think Alexander Freed is the best author in the new canon. Battlefront 1 was a crazy good surprise. And Alphabet Squadron is next level.
We fury road nowGuitars and pianos confirmed.
Qui-Gon is on that 'I can't believe George Lucas made Jedis into cops for politicians'.
Yeah, this hits all the issues with the Jedi really well.Yes, this book made me care so much more about Qui Gon, and even Obi Wan. And it fits so much better with the rest of the saga.
It actually hits all the points Lucas was trying to make with TPM and the prequels in general. You even get a sneak peek at why Dooku left the order, at the prophecies Qui Gon later becomes obsessed with (and why he became a believer in them) and even touches on the subject of slavery in the Galaxy in a much better way.
This would've made for a better Episode I honestly, in that regard, although it's missing Anakin and everything around his story (who is only about 2 years old during the events of this novel, I think).
Rebels is certainly not as good as The Clone Wars. The first two seasons are comparable to the first season of The Clone Wars which was by far the worst. The series really starts to get good with the last two or thee episodes of season two. After that it mostly gets better and better with the finale episodes being amazing.I finished the 5th season of Clone Wars and thought it was amazing.
Is Rebels worth a watch now?

I would say watch Rebels if you liked TCW a lot.
I wanted to drop it tbh, but then I read online that it starts to get really good. The show is just much more inclusive which means it doesn't cover some morally grey topics like TCW and the characters aren't as good.Yeah the first season of Clone Wars was not that good, it's going to be tough then. But I'll give it a try.

That's one of the big reasons why I love it so much. Before watching it I kept wondering how someone can make a kids show about war really good without it being dark. Turns out it wasn't really a kids show.I was actually surprised by how dark CW was. Didn't expect that at all from kid's show.
I liked it more than the Clone Wars because I think the quality is a bit more consistent. There's a few dud episodes here and there but when I was watching Clone Wars there were entire arcs that I just didn't enjoy.I finished the 5th season of Clone Wars and thought it was amazing.

Naboo is also both the system, the system's star, the planet, and the people on the planet.
Star Wars isn't hard science fiction... if it even should be classified as science fiction at all and not just space fantasy.
