Sheev himself is apparently just ripped from a Battlefront 2 screenshot, though

They're super keeping a lid on his appearance in the film

Resistance this week was a nothing burger, complete and utter filler. Why does this show have so much filler!?

Uh, is it normal for someone to casually admit to reading Sith legends?

I was at a concert about 50 minutes ago, and during the lead up into it we were all talking about how our week went. We talked about traveling and activities, and I brought up how I've been having these nightmares recently and I've been frustrated with the Jedi Order.

Then, one of my wise, older mentors said "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise that he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying."

And I was so flabbergasted. I literally said out loud "Dude, he could actually stop people from dying?" This was at a concert, with everyone in the room clearly hearing him, including his co-workers.

And he then just brushed it off like it was no big deal. "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural." I simply couldn't believe how brazen that was.

I could understand opening up about this sort of stuff among friends, but at a concert? Honestly, I doubt he'd be reprimanded in any way, but good lord.

I'm not overreacting here, am I?

The crying over Rian Johnson wanting to direct an episode of the Mandalorian is hilarious. Hell yes I'd like the man who directed Ozymandias to have a crack at Mando!

My fiancée and I have been watching The Clone Wars on Disney+ and idk how I missed this show when it was released. I do remember the Cartoon Network shorts which I absolutely loved, but I'm surprised how good this show is.

Ughhhhhh

Have family going back through the movies and sending videos of themselves laughing at TLJ. Laughing at Hamill vaulting to get fish, laughing at him carrying the fish on his back, milking the sea cow etc. Then saying he's a horrible actor who ruined the movie.

I kinda wish they'd be barred from seeing TROS

Hahahaha

Wait, I just clicked the expression thread and the OP seriously thinks the actors were being negative with their expressions. This is some crazy ass shit.

I'm a little confused about the Battlefront II thing. Is that just something you buy that unlocks all the skins so you don't have to grind for them?

I think so.

I'm really tired of the constant negative discourse in Etcetera lately

That's not even normal, honestly. Who sends videos of them rewatching a movie while laughing at it, when it's obvious they're laughing on purpose because why else would they send the videos?

Is it just me or does Kylo look crazy young in TFA compared to TLJ? It's like Adam aged ten years.

I feel like Rey looks a lot younger in TFA, too, but that could also be down to how FUCKIN' YOKED Daisy Ridley got for TLJ.

The Reylo sex scene that's definitely, 100% in TROS is going to be a treat. Kylo's been hate-training between movies, Rey's been making hardcore gainz from the secret lifting programs in the sacred texts. I want to see some grade A prime rib beef.

The vote failing in Empire's End felt like the author was told the book had to be X amount of pages longer.

Resistance takes place during a time where the Resistance is down to dozens of people and the First Order is taking over the galaxy. So what is this week's episode about? It's about them being so bored that they convince their leader to let them go to a casino to race so they can win some credits to buy supplies. Not even 'oh shit we desperately need credits! I guess this is the only way!". No, hell no. It's literally that they're just bored not doing anything on the Colossus.

Mothafucka straight up says that that solves their boredom problem. BOREDOM. PROBLEM.

THE GALAXY IS BEING TAKEN OVER, EVERYONE IS DEAD, ONE OF YOUR CREW JOINED THE FIRST ORDER AND YOU'RE BEING HUNTED! OH YEAH AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOUR WIFE IS

But the boredom problem.

Jezus. I'm a bit behind in the season, but this doesn't make me want to catch up any time soon.

It's like they weren't allowed to actually develop the story between TROS and TLJ, except for some few pieces that might be important for TROS at the end.

That or it's clear they thought they would get more seasons so they still wrote episodes like these for filler.

I'm sure the answer is as simply work-related, but is there another reason Adam does not seem to do as much press for these movies?
