Those street-broken Reddit impressions for Fallen Order in the previews thread got me hyped, won't lie
How in the blazes can people who clearly have some degree of interest in Star Wars legitimately want a decade-long hiatus before the next Star Wars movie following Episode IX? It just... defies belief for me.

It isn't news at all, nope. But I think the craving is strong in some folks have to try to bless the damn rains in Africa every time there's a chance for them to express their "Star Wars fatigue! Go away until Quinton is like 40!" (not exact words, fine).
Star Wars must go away for 17 years this time. We are obligated to suffer the trials of our forefathers.
Honestly, just about everyone who has actually played the game has loved it.
The detractors always seem to be the people who haven't.
I think it's going to be one of - if not the best - SW game ever made.

The Mandalorian OT is hopefully finished. I included a small section on the Razorcrest and had to include this BTS clip from Celebration. It makes me smile every time.

I'm suprised that Disney haven't made a deal with any company in the UK to stream the Mandalorian, since D+ won't be available here until March 2020. They know people will Captain Jack Sparrow it, but they don't seem too concerned, else they would've made a deal imo...
The only third party movies I've seen be in 4K on Netflix are the Amazing Spider-Man movies

I didn't really have high hopes for Battlefront 2's campaign, so I wasn't really disappointed when the game turned out to be an okay 5 hour campaign. With Fallen Order, however, I'm actually really hopeful that we get a great and meaty campaign. A campaign where even if you stripped out all the Star Wars stuff, I'd still want to play it.
Fucking EA, man.

while it was ridiculous (and so edgy) at times, I really liked the first game.
Shame about the sequel.
I got JFO on PS4 because of deluxe edition discount through BF2, plus EA customer service confirmed to me DualShock 4 buttons won't appear in PC version.
Did I misunderstand or wasn't he referring to Mandalorian, Cassian, and Obi-Wan as the three shows?
He said in production, which I feel excluded The Mandalorian since that's done. It's possible he misspoke and meant Mando since that's not out already, though.
Season 2 of the Mandalorian began filming this week so it is still in production.
After watching The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, I firmly believe they need to do a more family oriented serialized television show with a focus on puppets and adventure. Something that is a lower stakes serialized mix between Little House on the Prairie, Fraggle Rock, and the Ewok's movies. I think there is a good idea to be mined there.
I am glad that the Obi-Wan movie turned into an Obi-Wan miniseries. Yeah, it probably could have been a concise and well-made film but I think it would benefit from a miniseries structure a lot more. My boyfriend said earlier today that he couldn't believe there had never been a proper live action Star Wars show - and I agree with him. Now we are getting at least three in a very short time period.. quite exciting.
Is that like a record or something, a second season being filmed before the first has even aired?
I love how confident Disney is with Mandalorian that they are already filming the second season before the first is done.
