Not gonna happen. At this point it's safe to say they'd rather cut stuff than delay the movie.
In TFA Snoke and Maz Kanada were meant to be puppets but they resorted to CGI because of lack of time.
Just that they were shooting at Black Park as of 9/30. And I think Daisy's makeup artist posted an Instagram pic around the same time. The best thing about the reshoots is it's got the "leakers" walking back a lot of things they said and they've lost confidence in their scoops. People are speculating that JJ has written/shot multiple endings and has made some significant changes to the first edit
JJ is known for doing last minute edits and reshoots.

That would not be the case. That would be incredibly stupid. And it's not like movies don't leak. They're probably just regular reshoots that happen all the time.
I don't think that's the case at all. Apparently JJ has a reputation as being a constant reviser and reshoots with him are a given
Hopefully it's not rewrites that ruin character arcs like the ones Lucas did for Anakin's fall in ROTS.

The people are getting antsy. We want, nay, need news. I've begun to watch fan made The Force Awakens super cut trailers to get my fix.
The reshoots shouldn't affect the trailer. The editors should have more than enough footage to make one right now.
Neither, really. It's pretty standard for J.J., especially on Star Wars. I believe there was still filming going on this late for The Force Awakens. It's usually really small stuff this close to release.

I watched and rewatched all the Star Wars films and series I wanted to see on Disney+ before Tros and now I'm craving something new.
A new trailer for The Clone Wars would do it as well.

When I attended a midnight showing for TLJ, everyone in the audience was totally on board with the movie (save for a few awkward dead silence moments when humor failed to land). There was a ton of clapping all throughout. It was only when I stepped outside the theater and checked the net that I entered... the war.
I'm hoping I'm just as lucky for TRoS, but the uh, rise of fandom negativity doesn't leave me hopeful. It wouldn't surprise me to find that people sign up for immediate showings just so they can immediately complain.

Timing being one of them. I was very, very lucky with TLJ which was the 1st Star Wars movie I saw in theaters.
Oh wow, that's cool! I've been seeing them in theaters since The Phantom Menace. I wish I'd started on a higher note...
