Looks set during the OT, maybe a smuggler shooter game or a space combat game? Hybrid of both would be cool.
Naaaah, Rogue Squadron is basically a 1 Player game.
It had smaller scale battles than X-Wing VS Tie-Fighter.
With today's technologies we could have a way bigger multiplayer game.
It could be bonkers.

Wasn't Motive's game recently cancelled? Or was that another game?
Motive's game is still on. This may be something different though.
Hope so.
Flight controls in Battlefront II are ACE.

Hold on, a simulator? For real? Something like Independence War? Or the move thumbstick forward to move ship-simulator?
Heavy? How heavy? I can't imagine it being too deep because I can't see it not being a multiplatform game that comes out on consoles as well. I am not expecting to regulate the energy of my shield for example.

it's from EA and it come to consoles, so i imagine it's not going to be as crazy as a PC flight simulator. I didn't get any more details but regulating the shield energy is exactly what i was thinking when they said simulator.
in any case, who told me that is not a sim hardcore in any way, so maybe for him/her, just touching a few buttons makes it a hardcore simulator. I guess we will see!
I don't think a "smaller, more unusual project" necessarily sounds like a flying sim. That description honestly sounds more like a telltale kinda title. Hope I'm wrong.

I guess this is coming in 2020? Announcement at SW Celebration next month?
I mean, I want a modern SW space sim a bunch, but I'd love a Telltale-style narrative adventure game even more. It'd be the closest thing we've gotten to a Star Wars RPG since KotOR II.
I suspect it isn't either, though.
