I look forward to watching someone else play it (that doesn't talk over it) I guess.
I wish it was on something affordable like PSVR.
Oculus Quest is a standalone headset for $399. That's the same as the original price for just the PSVR headset, and includes motion controllers.
It's the same API. It runs on both original Rift and S.Looks great. Praying that a Rift S release also means it's coming to the original Rift.
Time to dust off the headset then, thanks!

Oh it's on Rift too? Ok then no problem. Thanks. I thought it was quest exclusive.
You mean the best of the new Star Wars Films?I was interested, but that trailer gave me heavy Rogue One flashbacks
No, thanks.
Quest is pretty affordable same with Rift at this point tbh although you would have to find one before prices rise since its getting replaced with Rift S.I look forward to watching someone else play it (that doesn't talk over it) I guess.

no. there is no reason for it either. if anything you will see pc games not release on quest but thankfully its being supported quite well obviously by oculus but also other devs behind popular games like VRchat.Has Oculus announced any titles that are on Quest but not Rift?

It's not like every single thing available for GearVR/Go is also on PC. Not every developer is going to develop everything for two different platforms.
At the same time though, 3DOF Gear/Go games don't translate effortlessly to 6DOF. E,g., with 3DOF it's easier to set the rules of a carnival game, where you must not step past x when you play ring toss- just pin the player's head to x point. It's not like every single thing available for GearVR/Go is also on PC. Hopefully it's only a timed exclusive for Oculus devices.
I'm desperate for a lightsaber fighting game...but not enough to buy a whole new headset.
Still, smart move for Oculus to lock it down, timed exclusive or otherwise. It'll sell systems.
May as well get a cheaper windows Mixed reality headset, then... Since they do the same inside out tracking.Oculus Quest is a standalone headset for $399. That's the same as the original price for just the PSVR headset, and includes motion controllers.

Everyone is expecting a stealth drop at the end of April. That's what happened with the Go.I feel like the Quest is not gonna make the spring release date. Spring is over in 6 weeks and they haven't even announced the date yet?
Looks surprisingly good, a better showing than Iron Man VR and the other Marvel game.
It has a challenge/wave-mode for increased longevity thankfully. This is an episodic interactive experience, three 45 minute episodes according to PC Gamer.

I have a couple PCs that can push VR but I'm still not willing to pay vive prices for VR. I thought he may be in a similar situation as me.Oculus Quest is an all in one, so no gaming PC required. I have to assume if he's looking for the low cost option he doesn't have a gaming rig to drive VR, otherwise yes a WMR headset is the cheapest option.
As someone who owns a PC and a Vive I'm still keeping an eye on the Quest since it's standalone and wireless.
Previews for the Iron Man game were actually really glowing, worth going an reading.Looks surprisingly good, a better showing than Iron Man VR and the other Marvel game.
