It could be at TGA and still have marketing deal with PlayStation. Look at annoumcement of Crash Team Racing.
Which is dumb as hell because the whole story can't be done in a single release without compromising due to modern technology.

Man, is anyone expecting more than that!? That's like... all that's left for PS4 from Sony! (I mean, it's obvious we won't get Part II and FFVII Remake stuff).
RE 3 is the main reason most people watch on State of Play. That's because, leaks etc.
Maybe thats the only reason that RE3 will be there, to bring a wider audience. But its enough.
What else to see on PS4 first-party when they obviously focused on PS5?
We still got Tshushima though, but still don't know if it is in the show yet...
We'll just have to see.
So, RE3 announcement and Dreams release date seem like locks. What other games might we expect to see?

Babylon's Fall gameplay reveal probably, would not expect a GoT date.
They can't release Sunset Overdrive, but they can release a port of it called Definitive Edition if they wanted to. But they don't want to, there's better use of Insomniac than SSO.
GoT and Dreams has to be the main stars if there isn't anything more to reveal to PS4. And some news about Now and/or PS4 price drop, or any other thing that is relevant PS4.
I dont see the point on have a event of this type for reveal third party stuff, they are better on a Game awards show.
I'm hoping for the new Crash Bandicoot tbh, but I think it'll most likely be revealed at TGA.
Worldwide PSNow release would be amazing... even if it's only with the downloadable games.

That would be amazing and a way to be in a more positive lighting when compared to Xbox+GamePass.
I actually appreciate their efforts to make SoP more 'watchable' by introducing new games to the show, whether first or third-party.
RE is big, and they manage to secure it from The Game Awards.
If it's 'just' what's left of PS4 first-party exclusives in this show...

How would Sony charge this ? Add another tier with only "download" service ?
Yeah, make it slightly cheaper ($8/month, $50/year) and add a lower tier. Believe they should have done this a long time ago anyway for the people who simply have no interest in streaming.
I feel like there was a lot more hype for the last SoP, but beyond TLoU Pt 2 that one largely disappointed. If this upcoming episode is the inverse of that then that would be great.
