True but the game did come out 7 years ago.Gone Home is on sale which I suppose is a spoiler for Gone Home.
Lol that's trueGone Home is on sale which I suppose is a spoiler for Gone Home.
Great sale from Valve on highlighting all LGTBQ+ games on sale and similar games coming soon to the store.
Also...
Don't show the sale to Nathan G. cuz it'll make his head explode.
Isn't the game really short? Like you could defeat it in one hour or less?Gone Home is on sale which I suppose is a spoiler for Gone Home.

Not really.Gone Home is on sale which I suppose is a spoiler for Gone Home.
The context there is sex games, it's right there in the first few words. Being LGBTQ doesn't mean NSFW.Great sale from Valve on highlighting all LGTBQ+ games on sale and similar games coming soon to the store.

Huh? While sure, the majority are VNs or similar narrative focused adventures/walking sims, there's plenty of action games and RPGs tooThe rest is too romance and visual novel focused for my taste.
Oct. 11 is National Coming Out Day in America. There's chemicals in the Steam, turning my games gay
Pretty cool of valve to highlight a sale like this. Is there a specific LGBTQ thing going on or does this just happen to be the theme of this sale?
There are a number of NSFW titles included in this sale, titles comparable to at least one of the games that triggered the article being quoted. The context there is sex games, it's right there in the first few words. Being LGBTQ doesn't mean NSFW.
This game is good and not spoken about much. The OST is fantastic too.
The Red Strings Club on Steam
The Red Strings Club is a cyberpunk narrative experience about fate and happiness featuring the extensive use of pottery, bartending and impersonating people on the phone to take down a corporate conspiracy.store.steampowered.com
Ah yeah, that's right. Cool, good timing on the sale then to highlight it and games related to it.
The few that exist also haven't been featured in Steam's monthly top charts, which is also context of the excerpt. It's nothing crazy to say that the general audience of gaming will probably be more into buying anime tiddies than, say, MLM erotica, but pointing that out shouldn't be something to get defensive over. There are a number of NSFW titles included in this sale, titles comparable to at least one of the games that triggered the article being quoted.

I mean it's been out for 7 years, and even so that doesn't even tell you the context.Gone Home is on sale which I suppose is a spoiler for Gone Home.
Don't like the style/art design of the majority, although All Walls Must Fall, Lucah: Born of a Dream, and Always Sometimes Monsters look cool. The latter is not on sale, in my story, though. Will put them on my wishlist. Thanks!Went ahead and got Killing Time at Lightspeed with that sweet card money.

Sure, if he was demanding that be the case. Rather, it's pointing out that he has yet to see an LGBTQ game of that type see similar success for reasons, and mentions prior that "it's no huge shock".But that is not at all surprising if we take the author at their word.
According to them Steam is "dominated by men", meaning that titles that "specifically caters to the sexual desires of, say, straight women or LGBTQ folks" are by definition catering to minority audiences on Steam. Demanding that these titles achieve "a similar level of success" is the author failing to understand the implications of their own premise.
Would you mind describing what the LGBTQ elements of the game are?
