Ya I think the only other ecosystem that has that kind of variety is Nintendo (and even that not as much as Steam), Xbox and PlayStation are both far more samey

You do realize most of those games are on Xbox right, and 3 out of 10 are MS games. I don't think Microsoft or Sony for that matter get enough credit for its diversity, mainly because we often only focus on AAA highly marketed games.

It's crazy to see the turnaround in MS support for their games on steam. With 7 of the top 15 on the global top sellers list being their games currently it's hard to argue it's not paying off too.

Outriders #1 in revenue on PC makes it easier to believe Outriders being #1 on Xbox isn't just some "but is it actual sales not just downloads because game pass??" fluff.

Yeah, it's not a 1:1 comparison because it's not on PC Game Pass, but it's clearly selling well on its own. Good for PCF.

Sea of Thieves getting closer and closer to 3 million sold on Steam. What an amazing journey that game is. And as an insider, I can say we haven't seen the peak of Sea of Thieves just yet. (Sorry Rare for sharing that, please don't kick me out of the insiders program)

crazy that 33.33% of the games are from Microsoft

It's no wonder that Sony is going to release more games on Steam. It gets banded about a lot but it really is leaving money on the table.

You also would have to imagine that Microsoft would love to get Game Pass onto Steam because there is an audience for Xbox games and then you add Bethesda.

If I am not mistaken none of the games in that list use Denuvo DRM. That says a lot about sales vs. DRM.

It's crazy and great that It Takes Two is doing so well, especially since the sales actually reflect that at possibly twice the amount of people are playing it. Having it automatically be sharable to another person is fantastic value.

It's incredible how Outsiders, which nobody would have bet money on, is actually a success, when Avengers was a flop.

what Outriders had going for it was a demo and a Game Pass day one release and not being a GAAS while Avengers was riding on the Name "Avengers" and it being a okay game with some flaws and a pretty bad GAAS model or not having anything at all and not having the MCU cast didn't helped.
