List Publishing Date: Sun, November 7th, 2021:
  1. Forza Horizon 5 Preorder - With the 5th Horizon Entry in the Forza Series reaching over ONE Million players even before its out, seems like its selling EXTREMELY well in terms of Preorders on not only XBOX but PC as well and it being in the top 10 on STEAM for 2 weeks now only assures that.

  2. Age of Empires IV - Age 4 continues to sell EXTREMELY well but has to give way to its fellow XBOX Game Studios title and drop one place to 2nd from 1st from last week.

  3. ELDEN RING Preorder - This should be no surprise to the people who are familiar to PC gaming. With only just Preorders opened for it days ago, Fromsoft's next Soulsborne title manages to chart as a new entry not only in the Global Top 10 on STEAM but at No.3 and has already become the 3rd most Globally Wishlisted game just behind Battlefield 2042 and Dying Light 2.

  4. New World - While again this week NW continues to sell well but drops another place to 4th from 3rd from last week.

  5. Forza Horizon 5 Preorder - Another edition for Forza 5 manages to chart in this week's rankings and at No.5!

  6. Age of Empires IV - Just like FH5, another edition of AoE IV also manages to chart in this week's rankings at No.6!

Such a shame Guardians isnt holding. Gem of a game, hope more people realize that maybe when it goes on sale or something.

I'm (pleasantly) very surprised how well AoE4 is holding, especially this week with a bunch of stuff happening between FH5, Elden Ring and Lost Ark.

New World still hanging around is also pretty impressive.

The X-COM/Civilization audience is not going to buy Midnight Suns at all.

Firaxis might have some luck on consoles tho, but PC? Ehhhh, people were expecting X-COM 3 for years.
Is there really no cross over between xcom fans and slay the spire fans? I always thought StS was very popular on PC

i like xcom and i like StS but i dont care for marvel and dont want to give money to this game and end up helping put Firaxis a couple years more on midnight suns support instead of going back to xcom content

And yet Bandai US doesn't want to release a PC CE in the US. It seems that only EU will be getting the CE, maybe I should have tried you have ordered the CE from Amazon.

I just think it's all dumb especially since the numbers are there, the good thing at least is that they did show the PC build of the game (but then again I think that was the EU branch that was showing that and they know their audience).

Is Microsoft now the biggest third party publisher on Steam?

Either way, they have been rewarded very nicely for bringing their titles to Steam.

PC Physical and Digital landscapes are two very different things. Since most of its sales are digital, sadly Pubs just don't care for physical buyer's on PC enough.

It's early days, but AoE 4 is currently my second favorite (new) game of the year, after Psychonauts 2. It's a blast. Haven't played an RTS aside from the Halo Wars campaigns since like 15 years ago, but it feels good to be back, even if I am VERY rusty. Seriously an amazing game. Glad to see it charting. Forza will pull me away, next week, but both AoE, Forza, and Halo starting in December will be in my constant gaming rotations for many months to come at the very least. Excited to see what other civilizations are added as time goes on.

Wonder how dissapointed Sweeny mustve been that bandai wasnt stupid enough to accept an Epic store moneyhat for Elden Ring. You know they mustve tried their hardest

Yep, getting the game on Steam. Fromsoft games run way better on PC (than last gen): even on my mediocre PC, it will run much more smoothly than on PS4. I had Sekiro running 1080p/60 fairly easily.

Honestly? Probably, if only for sheer quantity of big releases, the only real competition I can think of release fewer big games. Sega's probably the closest, and even then they're more of a specialist on PC.

Put the top performing IP from the big Steam publishers behind spoilers.
