Yep. It's what actually got me to watch the show, cause I couldn't believe it.
I miss her.
You've made it to the good part. Enjoy, from here on out.
There's so much to unpack from S1. The Paroda/Jasper/Lapis stuff was nuts.
God, we can finally here a clean version of Lapis' song.Soundtrack Vol. 2 and Karaoke album incoming!

The show later broke the fourth wall and said they can't afford her again.Yep. It's what actually got me to watch the show, cause I couldn't believe it.

it can basically be a metaphor for any kind of close relationship, romance isn't the only thing
Might be in my top 3 of the show.
On its surface, Rebecca Sugar's animated series develops a complex mythology centering around the Crystal Gems—"polymorphic sentient rocks" who protect young Steven and his human friends from cosmic threats. But in this earnest fantasy epic and superhero saga, empathy is perhaps the most important superpower, something our real-world human society needs now more than ever.
Same. I really hope it isn't Lapis' first and only song. I hope the next season or whatever form the show takes will do Lapis justice.
I'd be astonished if we heard anything before SDCC.
true enough, the wait is hard though
Legit had not heard about this, and looked it up on the App Store. It looks better than most SU mobile (except Attack the Light), but the art feels kind of off/lazy. Connie's idle sprite has this dead-eyed look that's really jarring and feels low effort. So I don't know if anyone here has heard about this but there's a new steven universe mobile game called the phantom fable and i think it's out right now
More confirmation of the obvious that this movie will focus on the original core cast. Poor Lapis and Peridot. Maybe we'll get more substantial content for them in 2020. 😭

A sure-fire way to ensure a 'T' rating, so you watch yourself missy.
u can try adventure time but its a pretty long series. she-ra is is fairly new as wellJust binged this show for the first time over the past month. Really special. Any other shows like it? I don't watch much animation.
Adventure Time is a good one to get into, it's less of a plot driven show and more episodic, but I would say they have a similar spirit.Just binged this show for the first time over the past month. Really special. Any other shows like it? I don't watch much animation.

If you've got Netflix, check out Hilda. Awesome bit of slice-of-lifey weirdness in the wilderness that feels very reminiscent of Steven Universe.Just binged this show for the first time over the past month. Really special. Any other shows like it? I don't watch much animation.
I'll add Over the Garden Wall to the recommendations - it's fairly short, and tonally very different than SU, but really odd and imaginative.
The whole final stretch of s5 post-Reunited has clicked for me a bit more knowing it's basically the series finale arc
