All the jokes about Kat being a bad female character are fun but let's not pretend DMC4 didn't have both of them dressed as strippers so you could see them boob physics jiggle around like manic water ballons trying to break free with every step.
They absolutely do. And to be honest, Kat would have been 'fine' had Tameen not gone on record to talk up a big game.
I'm reminded of the whole thing with the new rebooted Lara Croft, where the developers made a conscious effort to desexualized Lara but somehow along the way they also removed her strong confidence persona. I keep wondering if this is like some kind of subconscious response to how brazen Bayonetta is.
I'm going to repost a good vid I found on DmC that gives a great look at alot of the behind teh scenes things happening with DmC, the fans, and also goes into what Tameen says, cause that interview about Kat is fucking terrible. I'm actually surprised no one's been posting it yet, or that I haven't heard the guys mention him. He basically just does breakdowns of character action games.
Its a shame.
I love the rebooted Tomb Raider's gameplay but hate pretty much everything else they've done with it. The characterization of Lara, the tone, the goofy over the top death animations, etc.
Did really no one post this here yet? Found Foxcade through this, really liked his take. Personally think it's one of the more even keeled takes of DmC.
I haven't seen a single mention of it. It just popped up on my youtube recs (bless you oh holy algorithm) from all the DMC vids.
I wonder if the Zaibatsu will actually talk about how Xenoblade 2 inserted a toned down version of Mythra's outfit based on Smash's "censored" version, but neither game has a toned down Pyra version (well, not counting the "we stuck a poncho on Pyra" variant that is supposedly unlockable after you clear the level you have to use it in).
Its actually funny in retrospect cause they were chatting so much about how Nintendo doesn't care about your creepy sex stuff.
It's not like normal Mythra isn't in the game anymore. It's just an alt outfit (that looks way better imo).

Man the animation quality has taken a hit in the middle of Jojo part 4. Which is a shame as it was the first proper Kira episode.
I am a man of simple means. I'm watching Crunchyroll like a common serf.
Like it's not early dragonball super terrible. But things just looked off model a lot of this episode. Especially jarring since the Cinderella episode looked great. I don't understand why Kira didn't get the A+ treatment.
So I never got around to watching the Yakoozie 0 playthrough back when it came out because I was busy playing through it myself and now that I'm finally caught up on the Yakuza games (minus Fist of the North Star) I'vebden watching it. I just got to the moment where Pat and Matt found out that Makoto has psychosomatic blindness, or more recently known as conversion disorder, and Pat doesn't want to believe that it's a thing. God dammit. Doesn't he have a degree in psychology?? That was something we learned about in the intro level classes!!
